The owners are kind, friendly and very helpful. Excellent food with many options for vegetarians. Garden around the appartment is beautiful. The location is great - not in the centre, so noise is not an issue, but it takes just 10 minut walk and you can be on the beach or near the city centre.

The bathroom is a bit small, but we knew that before booking. Besides we have nothing else we didn’t like. The property is nice and clean :)!

We had an amazing stay at Iphigenia, the couple is really nice. We got a warm welcome and they are willing to help you with everything (renting cars, booking excursions, taxi’s and so on). The garden is amazing, really nice place to get some rest and it’s close to the strip (bars and restaurants). They also offer great food at Iphigenia, Marianne and Christos are great cooks and the food is offered for a really good price. I have some severe food allergies but they were extremely careful. We will definitely come back.

The level of hospitality was amazing. MariAnna always had some nice words to us and was a great help, and Cristos made us delicious meals. The bed was comfortable and the location of the apartment was the best for us (not in the center, not too loud).

As we were travelling with 3 generations of women, the bathroom was a bit small, but other than that our stay was excellent!

Nothing, it was a perfect location.

MaryAnna and Xristos were the perfect hosts for this lovely small resort near Chersonissos. We were able to relax, road trip to local sites, and enjoy the best Cretan cooking. We’ll be back soon.

The setting and outlay of the green oasis is unique. We found a prestine hideout in this buzzling part of Kreta. The family like atmosphere and friendliness of personnel was stunning. Especially enjoyed the evenings at the Bar/Restaurant with my son. Excellent variety of food and baverages! Just 10 Minutes walk to the beaches...We will be back 💖

Everything was great on our stay. Clean rooms, the staff is very gentle, the property is wonderful, with a nice pool. The breakfast are very nice. A plenty of restaurants near the location and a supermarket in front. Our stay in create was very nice staying here. We highly reccomend your sty here.

From Tami (Robyn's Mum as I booked on her behalf) I have just returned from a week staying at this amazing retreat. MariAnna & Chrístos are the most amazing hosts and are there for whatever you need whenever you need it. I was made to feel extremely welcome on my arrival and as this was my first solo trip as a single woman this made a huge difference to how comfortable they made me feel. By the time I left I felt like part of their family and was sad to be leaving. Coconut their dog is the most gentle little soul and takes his job welcoming all the new arrivals very seriously. He was a big part of my stay and I’ll miss him. Chrístos is an amazing chef and is there on hand to make the most delicious meals and snacks throughout the day, the portions are huge and very generous. You will not go hungry when you stay here. He also made me some very nice cocktails in the evenings. The apartment was perfect for me. It was clean and tidy and the huge bed was very comfortable. It also has a tv and air-con in the bedroom which was a much needed bonus. My room led out onto a nice patio area with a few stairs directly to the pool with enough sun beds and a beautiful garden area with comfy furniture and day beds to chill and relax on. There is a Lidl directly across the road which you can walk to in under a minute and the Hersonissos strip and beach is about a 15 minute walk with lots of shops, bar’s & restaurants. This was my first trip to Crete and MariAnna & Chrístos made it a trip to remember. I can’t wait to return to the Iphigenia Mythic Retreat and hope to do so very soon.

The bathroom and shower were small, as in all places in Crete Which caused every shower in every bathroom to get wet, Other than that everything was lovely and we had a great time!

Wonderful place to stay! Relaxed and family atmosphere! The whole place is beautiful and well-kept, green and blooming The room is functional and clean. The pool and bar add to the good atmosphere, fun to sit outside for dinner The hosts are really charming! They gave a good feeling, it was fun to chat with them And they helped with everything needed. The location is not on the main street which gives a quiet and pastoral atmosphere. Right across from the supermarket and within a reasonable driving distance of 4 minutes from the city center. In conclusion, we had a lot of fun!

This was perfect place for staying. The hosts were so welcoming, always tried to make us feel good. They are really nice persons. The place looks very beautiful, better than in photos 15 min on foot till the main street, right next to the Lidl. You have always place for your car So if you want a calm holidays at nice and beautiful place, you should definately stay here

Small bathroom as everywhere else in Crete. Kitchen is not equipped (only dishes and cutlery) and there is not a table. Have your meals in the garden with other guests ! You need a car as you are far away from centre and beaches.

Apartments are set in a nice garden and pool area. Fantastic hostess. Relaxing place far away from Hersonissos chaos. Breakfast included. You can eat in the garden as hosts are great cooks and prepare meals for their guests.

Everything was amazing and there is nothing that should be changed. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that our time at Iphigeneia was short....

Iphigenia is an overall and absolute gem!!! Marianna and Christos are the most wonderful and lovely hosts in Hersonissos. The rooms are ideal, the beds are soooo comfortable, everything is clean, and the open reception area with the bar and kitchen is just perfect for eating, coffee, drinks and hanging out by the pool. Another plus is that outside grounds are beautiful…with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas, and areas to relax and enjoy after a dip in the pool:) The location is also perfect….away from the busy Hersonissos center but only minutes away; next to a Lidl supermarket for quick resupply on waters and snacks Marianna is very helpful and she will make sure your stay is unforgettable. Christos is the best grill master and their food is delicious and reasonably priced. Together, these two, are the best duo in Hersonissos and we have stayed in many places throughout the years so we know the difference Iphigenia is perfect for families and for those who are looking for a comfortable stay and a great time. At Iphigenia you are more than a tourist…you are home away from home Thank you Marianna and Christos for making our families feel like home and for your hospitality…..we are booking our next visit with you and only with you.

Very welcoming and cheerful owners, the room was tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. The advantage of the hotel is its quite location, far from Hersonissos’ masses, plus its large outdoor area with huge trees.! It’s a great spot for kids to run around safely while you can enjoy your drink in one of the sitting spots of the outdoor area.

We’d rent a car straight away next time, so we can explore more of the island.

Its a small resort with lovely apartments. Marianna and Christos were brilliant hosts, and were so helpful when our flight was cancelled twice. It has a real family feel.
