The fridge in the room was a bit noisy, and we felt the bed a bit hard, maybe because we usually sleep on soft matress, but we got used to it.

The hotel was peaceful and silent, the beach is 10 minutes walk and in our opinion it is the best beach in the island (Mesakti Beach). The staff was very kind and helpful, they helped and gave us good advice, eg.: which way is the best to visit tourist attractions or hidden places. The room was very clean, and they provided good breakfast every day. Thank you!

Nothing - all great.

Lovely, traditional hotel with friendly, helpful and wonderful staff. Genuinely welcoming and kind people. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable, well-equipped and serviced every day. We stayed in a Mountain View room but there was a good shared balcony to use which overlooked the sea. Breakfast was buffet style and a lovely occasion as you could sit out on the terrace. Short walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants and Mesakti beach. Quiet, peaceful place. Excellent value for money too.

parking was a bit hard especially because the hotel is on an uphill, but is pretty standard on an island like Ikaria.

The hotel is in a good location in Gialiskari. Room was clean and breakfast was abundant. Mr Zaharias and his wife made sure that we had everything we need. They clearly gave insitructions on how to navigate Ikaria and its roads and educated us on the history of the island and its citizens. They sent us to great locations for food, festivals and hidden beaches.

The breakfast was a bit scarce. There was no fresh fruit (but out of a can) and also no vegetables. Usually, we live a vegan lifestyle, so we brought our own oat milk, but we thought there would be some vegan choices like hummus or fresh fruit. That would be the only wish we have for improvement.

Awesome location including the exceptional sea view and the walking distance to the beach. The staff was very friendly! It is also very clean and made us feel at home.

It was great, no issues.

The location is off the main road. Great views, quiet and located where you have access to main road going anywhere on the island. The hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was perfect to start our day. The air conditioning was perfect after a long hot day. Close to restaurants and supermarkets and beach. Ample parking. Definitely would come back because we love it here.

There wasn't a lot of space for parking given now necessary a car is on the island. The food provided for breakfast was okay but a few more fresh options would have been good, and more coffee options.

The hotel was a simple, bright, clean, pleasant place to stay with amazing views from the rooms. The beach is a 10-minute walk away, with everything you need in the local area. The breakfast was basic but decent. The staff were accommodating and friendly.

Unfortunately we hadn’t realised from reviews just how much of a hike it is up and down steep roads to access the beach and restaurants in Gialiskari. Not great for old knees but once we had a car rental, problem solved.

Loved the breakfast. Simple fare but enough variety and fabulous fresh Greek yoghurt and local honey, delicious. Staff were super friendly - especially the ladies who made up our room every day and the ever helpful, smiling and obliging Eleni. The manager also helped tremendously by securing us a rental car when I had been told by various companies that none were available.

I felt the mattress could’ve been better, i could feel the springs when sleeping and they were hurting me. Pillow was great though. I also feel the breakfast could be much better with fresh fruit rather than canned and some nuts for the yoghurt and local cheese rather than packed produced cheese.

Location is perfect, view from the balcony is beautiful. Rooms are super clean everyday and simple with enough space for personal belongings. Exactly what you need for a beach holiday. Have the balcony was a plus to dry your swimsuit and breathe the fresh air. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay in Ikaros star hotel. Room was nice and the view from the balcony was amazing. Breakfast was good and staff was really friendly. For a small fee I got my laundry done and after check-out they helped with the taxi and also let me stay in the room as long as I needed

No garage per se. There are open parking spaces and a shaded garage space intended for guests' motorcycles, that is reserved for the owner's car though.

The parking situation first and foremost. No elevator too was difficult to ferry all of the luggage to the third floor. A bellhop or someone to bring the luggage to our room would have made my life easier. The cost to have clothes washed was a king’s ransom (€15 flat fee)

The breakfast met expectations. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. The parking situation is kind of a mess and I just ended up parking on the street because it was easier for me. There was an option to have our clothes washed too.

Chemical hotel breakfast, beds were rock hard.

Good location nearby everywhere you need to be in Ikaria: by car 10 minutes to Mesakti Beach and 20 min from Raches. You need a car because the hotel is located on a hill. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We paid 60 euro per night which is a cheap price.

The location was not as advertised.It was not near beaches. The hotel was along way from anything.There was no bus service taxi service was very limited .If you did not rent a car the only way was to walk . The roads or tracks were very hilly and uneven.We were very disappointed as we had been looking forward to seeing Ikaria.

Breakfast was ok, but monotonous and a little limited. Two of the hosts were constantly having very loud arguments. Also the hotel was a bit pricey for the quality.
