The apartment is located close to a very nice beach where we went swimming. It was in a quiet area, but only a short walk from a couple of restaurants. It is also within an easy walk of the centre of Methoni, where there are several nice restaurants, as well as Methoni Castle.

Fixtures and fittings need major updating, there is a random mix of furniture that makes the rooms seem unloved and chaotic. The rooms would be amazing with a clean modern kitchenette and some stylish furniture

It was an ideal location in Methoni, not too far away but far enough to be peaceful and quiet, the lovely views and the plentiful supply of crisp brilliant white sheets and towels and also Maria’s warm welcome and friendliness

There isn't anything that we didn't like.

Ilias Apartments are perfect for those wanting a more traditional Greek holiday accommodation, with a very welcoming owner and beautiful sea views from all apartments. The walk into the centre of Methoni takes around ten minutes on quiet roads and there is plenty of parking at the accommodation. There was a good choice of restaurants in Methoni and the beach was very relaxed with sunbeds affiliated to a hotel and bar with a 6 Euro minimum spend but also with plenty of space to lay down a beach mat and towel and a shop-bought parasol with Methoni Castle as the back drop. Pylos is well worth a visit, especially the castle with its museums of underwater discoveries, followed by a drink and bit of lunch in one of the several restaurants or cafes in and around the town square. A little further afield, Koroni is well worth a visit with its narrow streets and lovely restaurants right along the sea front.

Owners are very nice and friendly, always ready to help. The apartment is excellent for a family with kids. Kitchen is very well equipped, which is important in case you need to cook more than just a simple meal. Very spacious place on the teracce for having dinner or just enjoy the view to the seaside. We had a wonderful 10-day stay and we highly recommend it to families with kids.

The host , Maria , met us to welcome us and show us to our apartment, the location is superb,lovely view over a field to the sea and just a stroll into methoni town, you can walk along the seafront or take a rural walk through the tracks passing goats, cows and horses.. everything you need is within a 10 minute walk , the apartment itself, although a little dated, has everything you need and is spotlessly clean, the outdoor balcony is shaded and private.. very good value for money and would recommend:)

Would be nice if there was a roller shade over the front door privacy glass to block out the early morning sun coming into the room and lights from outside.

The apartment came equipped with all you need to make coffee and small meals/snacks and clean up (e.g. dish soap, sponge and dishtowel. We enjoyed breakfast one day on the nice balcony deck with a view of the water. The beds were very comfortable and there is also a washtub for soaking clothes and a clothes line and pins for hanging wet items for drying. It is in easy walking distance to Methoni eateries, Methoni castle and the beach. Bath soap is provided, but you will need to provide your own hair care products. Also, plenty of face and bath towels were stored in our room. The shower water pressure is very good.

The host, Maria its a vey kind and welcoming person. She bringed us on arrival coffee, beer, water and croissant. She always was there to help us for everything for all the time we stayed there. She gave us the permission to grab some lemons from her garden. Rooms was very clean, great view and very well equiped kitchenette. The car can be parked safettly in front of the door under some trees. Hope w'll return in the future.

The balcony was great looking out to see. Lots of towels and bedding and changed after three days. Very clean and such welcoming hosts in a brilliant location in the quieter part just outside of town.try Sapienza restaurant for simple wonderful home cooked Greek food

The apartments are simple but have all you need for a holiday at the beach. The host is really warm welcoming and always there for any question. It was the most relaxing stay we had in a long time :) so thanks a lot <3

The neighbors in the suite next door with their young kids were extremely loud and impossible to ignore while eating breakfast or lunch on the balcony, but no sound issues at night.

Our hostess was wonderful and very accommodating and helpful, the room that we booked had a guest who wanted to extend their stay, so she upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge! Parking was very nice with a living canopy over all the spaces, even when we came back late at night, there was always a spot for us in front of our suite. The balcony had a table & chairs with a nice view of a field and the sea in the distance and a clothesline with clothespins, much appreciated! Spacious bedroom, plenty of outlets, AC w/ remote, small TV that we didn't end up using, also a cute kitchenette, decent fridge+freezer, and small-ish but very clean shower w/ curtain. Overall a very nice stay in a very convenient location, for a very good price, would definitely return next time we're in Methoni!

Booking stated breakfast could be arranged but that was not the case. This was not a problem as there was a kitchen and fridge in the room.

Although matresses are quite new bed lenght is not suited for people taller than 1.80 m ! The kitchen equipment is old and should be replaced.

Apartments are located in a absolutely quiet area. The terraces are quite big and very pleasant to relax.
