Even though the place was clean (it gets cleaned up everyday), the facilities would need a little love, more specifically the bathroom. Toilet was leaking (lightly), sink was loose, and the wood doorframe in the bathroom seems affected by water infiltration from the shower.

Location was perfect, centered in the venetian neighbourhood of the old town. Personnel was kind and they accomodated us with early check in, gave us restaurant suggestions. Communication was good, and the balcony was splendid.

We had an amazing stay at Illotropio Art. Our hosts were fantastic and gave us fantastic recommendations to local spots for food and drinks. The room was amazing and had a charm which matched the rest of Chania. Would definitely recommend. The property was in the perfect location. It was clean, tidy and well kept.

The room was cleaned every day. The location was great, near to center, harbour, bus station and restaurants. The air condioning was work. The owners were very kind.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.. i booked separate days with them since i changed my mind for the other hotel.. they kept me in the same good room i fist checked in.. which has Balcony and on the street side. The room is very clean and there is AC. The lady brought me kattel to make coffee in the morning. They will accommodate you very well.

The location is just perfect in the old town city center.. everything is around you including restaurants and markets. The owners are amazing couples they helped me a lot .. Mr Stamatis helped me to book for Taxi and gave me helpful instructions.. they are both polite and friendly. They are always available if anything needed.

- The keys we were given, one was meant for the front door and didn't work. While we were unsuccessfully trying to open the front door other guests arrived and saved us from spending a night in the street. .Thank you, you unspoken Italian heroes!

- Very nice owners - in a way, a good location... if you drank enough tsipuro to make you an heavy enough sleeper to not hear the sound from the street bellow, generally calm but the occasional party goer heading home will wake you up and prevent you from having a good night sleep . The street is so narrow, any sound gets amplified, took me a while to understand that some guy/guest was just playing with his suitcase handle. Unfortunately the worst sleep we had in Crete

There was little to none soundproofing and we could actually hear snoring at night and the alarm clock in the morning from the people upstairs pretty loudly, but we didn't mind.

Our room was really pretty and the location is amazing. Mrs Katerina and her husband are polite and helpful. You should definitely ask them for restaurant suggestions or really anything you'd like to learn about the town!

Bathroom should have better sfandard for the price. Also there was nowhere to prepare some food as there was mix of plates and glasses. Avoid restaurant close as they are scamers.

It is a small apartment and there is not so much place for the luggages.

The apartment is in a very good position in the center of Chania. It is easy to reach by bus from the airport. The hosts are really gentle and kindly supported us for our needs.
