The location and the view are amazing. Having such a pool makes you not want to leave to the beach. Good road access. A small shop nearby, along with a few restaurants.

It’s a bit remote without a car, that said, it’s a lovely 15 min walk to a great bakery and a couple of lovely restaurants.

We needed to remind the cleaner to change our towels and to leave toilet paper on a regular basis. The wasps were a problem and often prevented us from sitting outside for long periods of time. We couldn’t eat outside as they made it near impossible to do so. The Wi-Fi and internet was not very good.

The view was fantastic and the pool was clean and well maintained. Our overall experience was good it was close to the popular beaches which made it very convenient and the restaurants/tavernas in the town were excellent, the food was of a high standard.

We loved the pool and the jacuzzi , the view was amazing and the place was so quiet ... we recomend for all ! The house is very nice too and had all the things we need for a pleasant stay .

It is an amazing accomodation, with magnificent view over the sea (and sunsets, of course), amazing pool, and it's a bit hidden from the rest of the village to get all the privacy you want. Although we initialy booked as a couple, we ended up going with the kids, and this came to notice the absence of a washing machine. That would have been an amazing plus for us, but it's not there. Also, having a single toilet for 4 people was a little minus. Our host, Ms Effie, helped us all the way and gave us precious informations about the island and points of interest. Everything we tried, from her list, was amazing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Ionian Horizon Villas. And yes, we would visit this place again, for sure.

Location is 10 out of 10. What the host has done with it is also 10/10. You can tell it's been done with attention to detail. Can't recommend enough! P.S. The host is incredibly nice and helpful with recommendations regarding where to go and what to do, which adds to the whole experience!

The views and the design of the villas are gorgeous! Really high quality finishes. The village is around a 15 minute walk which was lovely through little winding streets and around cattle and local small holdings. Very rural, if you’re staying for more than a day or two you would probably need a car.

Loved this villa. Amazing view. Beautiful pool and outdoor facilities. Equipment good for 2 people. Location great as good access to really nice village for restaurants, shop and great bakery. Effie looked after us so well. Daily maid service wonderful. Lefkada is a gorgeous green island. Amazing views and beautiful easily accessible beaches, clear blue water.

Wifi did cut out once but Effie got it sorted straight away.

Lovely villa. The view from the pool is stunning, looking out to the sea. Effie is an excellent host. She spent time with us going through everything and wrote down several recommendations of places to go and restaurants. One of them La Vinaria (traditional Greek) in Lefkada town was great. Simple but excellent food. - have the Tuna Souvlaki! - mouth watering. Also, take a boat trip from Nidri- this was a highlight. Thank you again Effie, would love to return one day. Mark and Cathy

Unfortunately, the weather was unexpectedly bad at the beginning of October. We had severe thunderstorms which knocked out the power, wifi and satellite tv our first night. Effie the owner had the power back up the next day, but although she did everything she could possibly do, we could not get wifi or a stable internet connection the whole week. Due to the bad weather, we were also unable to use the lovely pool. Apparently, this type of weather is very unusual for October. Just bad luck for us.

The villa, private pool, view and surroundings were beautiful. The owner Effie and her father were lovely and were always available for any requests or problems that might arise. The owner did kindly offer us a voucher for a free night's stay on a future visit to make up for the inconvenience of the lack of internet availability.

Internet was not working at all upstairs and was a bit unstable downstairs. Towels were not exchanged during our 4 day stay.

Our host Effie was very nice and gave us a lot of good recommendations for the area. She also booked a table for us at one of the recommended restaurants.
