We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

North MacedoniaVery nice, smaller hotel in a very quiet part of Kanali. Just a 10 min walk to the local taverns and bars. The rooms are spacious, the pool is a nice addition if you don't feel like going to the beach. The personnel were amazing, the reception staff was very welcoming and took good care of us. The breakfast buffet was great as well with a variety of options.

United KingdomA very minor point but the pool was a little bit chilly. It would have been good to have a kettle and tea /coffee in the room as there was a mini kitchen with a sink. Breakfast was good but not great.
Friendly staff with a great welcome when we arrived. They were also very accommodating when we requested a late check out. Great to have an outdoor café /bar next to the pool. Pool was very clean. We had an enormous room with a lovely balcony with a great view out to sea and Lefkada :-) very close to the beach and bars and restaurants. Lovely quiet beach.

RomaniaThe location is excellent for those who go by car. You are close to the main attractions of the area. Kanali is also a charming location with small tavernas and beaches nearby, and we enjoyed the fact that it was not crowded. The hotel is wonderful starting from accomodation to the beaches and the staff. We would definently go back!

United States1. Very poor wifi. They sent a technician to fix it, but even after they ‘fixed’ it, it was very weak. The connection barely worked for me in the lobby. I kept losing connection. Even using cellular was challenging. 1-2 bars at most. Zero connection in our bedroom for either one of us (room 53). We both have newer iPhones. I had to work, so I ended up driving to Preveza to use wifi (I sat in the lobby of another hotel and used their wifi with no issue). 2. Property was a bit far from main town of Prezeva (15 min drive). We knew this when we booked. We had a car so it was no problem, but I would definitely stay closer or in Prezeva next time. 3. The hotel bar prices are expensive! One glass of wine was 7 euros (very small glass of wine). For reference, I was in Parga for 5 days at a much nicer hotel and a glass of wine was 4 euros (and it was a larger pour and better wine). My fault I didn’t check the prices before ordering. I frequently travel to Greece and I was quite shocked when I got my bar bill.
The staff was wonderful. The property is older, but very well maintained. Our room was large, quiet, comfortable, and very clean. Shower had very good water pressure. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Large balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was good. No self service cappuccino/expresso machine. Only drip coffee or Greek coffee come with breakfast. We were there for only one night.

This hotel is 10 years old but looks brand new. The rooms are very large, clean, and very quiet. The staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast was ok too. Parking is easy.

CanadaThe hotel, with its external grounds and landscape, is very impressive and the staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful, in particular Dimitri and Ioanna. Dimitri, at the Front desk, was professional, friendly and provided us with places to go and sites to see. Rooms were spacious and clean; beds very comfortable. The buffet-style breakfast offered a variety of foods and was delicious. Thank you to the staff for making our stay extra special!

United StatesThis was our second stay at Ionian Theoxenia. This hotel is extremely clean and has very big rooms. We booked a family room with 2 bedrooms. We are a family of 4 and had plenty of room. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The staff is very nice and attentive. The hotel offers beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We had a great stay here and will be back for sure.
