It was a really nice hotel that I can't find any drawbacks.

The view was marvellous with the caldera. The breakfast was awesome with the 2 pakistani staff, very kind and helpful. The location, firostefanie was a bit far from fira, but you have the bus every 30 mins or 15 mins walk to the centre. The only hic was the wind, it was extremely windy in Santorini but this does not count to the beauty of the hotel.

The water in the pool was really cold, it was impossible to swim. In the shower you needed to remember to wait couple of minutes with the tap open for warm water. The location is tricky If you don't have a car/ATV, getting to Fira will take 20+ minutes by foot. However, if you do have car/ATV, there are many parking places just in front of the hotel, which is really comfortable, and the ride to center Fira takes about 5 minutes.

A small very nice boutique hotel. When you book an hotel in Santorini that is on the cliff, the view is always breathtaking. The staff were absolutely amazing! We had a room at the pool level and it felt like a private pool.

Most facilities you would think are included are extras! Payable like water and the spa facilities. The booking.com does mention some facilities of the spa would be charged. But there were some differences in facilities like steam room, sauna. Oh and yeah no private car parking facilities!! Which is a bit of a let down for such costs. You have to park at the public unpaved surfaces which might be a particular problem for low ground clearance vehicles!!

We had ants in our room that would go on the coffee table -- but I am sure they will sort this for the next travellers. :) If you are planning to venture out to town often keep in mind there is maybe 15-20min walk up down/up the hill -- should not be problem for any even moderately active people and we actually prefered this.

The had the honeymoon suite and my god that place was magical! The views were breath taking -- pretty sure one of the best and most private viewing spots over caldera and Fira. The room was large, sparkling clean and newly refurbished to a very high standard. The staff really make Ira great -- very responsive to any requests and just great and relaxed people in general.

Ira Hotel was recently renovated and provides large rooms featuring new minimalist decor. Excellent cliffside location with an outstanding view of the crater and it sunsets. The best feature is the feeling of calm and privacy once you enter the property. Unlike most properties along the busy Fira/Oia walking path, the rooms and pool area are sheltered away from public viewing. We stayed in a cave room featuring an extra large shower room and facing the inside court and were totally happy.

Location was ideal - outside busy Fira, no steps to navigate, clean, private, several terraces to take the Caldera views. Breakfast options plentiful and option to take the evening meal onsite welcome.

NOTHING it was perfect 😁

My partner and I had a great time staying in this boutique luxury hotel. We spent a little more on our room to get the volcano view and it did not disappoint, i would really recommed this. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and gave great recommendations. The hotel was in the ideal location for us as it was a short walk from a small town with coffee shops and restaurants. You could then carry on walking for 15 mins and reach the capital Fira which is as you would expect incredibly busy but a must to go to so it was great to then be able to retreat back to our quieter area. My boyfriend proposed to me on this holiday in our room and the staff prepared the room to make it extremely romantic and perfect for us, they really went above and beyond to make sure it was special!

Not that we didn’t like it but climbing and descending from the steps made us a bit out of breath.😆 Also, the water was overflowing from the shower room but we were informed beforehand so we didn’t really mind it. I wish there was a coffee machine to complete the “posh” experience in our room. 😅

It was very private, newly renovated and has an amazing view of the caldera. We stayed in the Master suite with a private balcony and the view was spectacular! We didn’t even have to go out to watch the sunset because of the amazing private balcony that we have. Also , the staff were all amazing . Constantina was very accomodating, gave us a little tour and some information about the island which was very nice. We missed breakfast on our first day because we needed to leave early but she made sure that food was provided in our room before we left. Our flight was 8 hours after our checkout from IRA but they let us leave our things and informed us we can still stay and use the facilities if we like. We opted to walk around Fira instead but when we went back to the hotel, they provided us with towels and toiletries so we can have a shower before our flight as it was really very humid and hot. I was really grateful for that. I think they exceeded our expectation. They were very genuine and accomodating which was really a different experience for us because in some other places we can still a subtle discrimination with us being of asian descent. Santorini gave us a really unforgettable experience. x Thank you to the whole staff of IRA hotel.
