How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing. For us was perfect
The owners are great! It was a pleasure to have the coffee together in the morning and exchange experiences. The rooms are very clean and they are cleaning those every day. Comfortable beds, big rooms, everything was great! The location is perfect: 100 m from supermarket, 100 m from beach. There are many taverns around, the area is very green, quiet. The hotel has free parking in the yard so your car will be safe. For sure it was a great experience so we might return

Everything was perfect, we enjoyed our stay very much! I have only one recommendation, I would appreciate a small plastic washbasin to transfer the wet swimmsuits or washed towels from bathroom to the terrace.
Nice, family-run hotel surrounded by olive trees. Our appartment was spacy, with huge terrace. On the terrace, there's water tap - very good idea! Another one is just next to the entrance from the road - you can wash your sandy feet or sandals. The location is just perfect - 3 minutes walk to a big supermarket, max. 5 minutes walk to the beach or to taverna. The sandy beach is suitable for kids or non-swimmers, as the sea is shallow many metres from the coast. Water is clear. There are also 2 beach courts for volleyball or badminton.

The room was a quite small for 3 persons.
The hotel is in the middle of an olive tree orchard far enough from the main road. Generally the room was a quiet one, depending on the neighbors attitude. It was close enough to the beach for a walk.

The shower ( is coming hot , colt , .....) , ac is not working well and the matrimonial bed it was two beds single and kept me away from my sweet wife 😁.
Very nice location, near to the beach 2-3 min. walk at the Stella beach and restaurant ( the best for kids) , clean room every day and at 3 days towels changed and the beds sheets. Veri nice and friendly stuff 👌.

I can not think for a single thing that I dislike.
I was amazing family hotel. Our hosts were amazing. The apartment was amazing and luxury, the bed even had a top mattress it was heavenly comfortable. Room was cleaned every day. In the backyard the hotel have superb barbeque for their guests. since we were with electrical car it was perfect because the owner had made a charging station which you can use for free. This is one of the few times that the place have exceeded my expectations. HIGLY RECOMEND TO VISIT THIS PLACE, YOU WILL NOT REGREDED!

Very Poor internet !
Nice location surrounded by old olive trees, 5 Minutes walk to the beach, clean, friendly staff.

I made a reservation in february for the month of september with FREE CANCELLATION unil 29 of august. After the reservation, in february, I was asked for money in private message, so- Where is the free cancellation? I think the payment should be make via booking to have confirmation for your sent money. Even if they where honest and they sent you the money back for the free cancellation, you have to hope and pray to God that you will receive your money back! The hotel is very noisy, the walls are very very thin, every sound make you jump from the bed, sound from the kitchen, from the neighbours etc..
The people in the staff are very nice and helpful, the room was very clean and the location pretty good. I liked that the staff came every day to take the trash and to provide us what we need!
