The rooms did not have very good insulation between them and although ours only shared one wall, we were twice woken by the adjacent occupants leaving their room very early in the morning.

Great buffet breakfast and comfortable room with terrace and a nice sea view. The gardens and pools were immaculate and diverse. Many guests stayed around the hotel pools and gardens as it was nicer than the nearby beaches. Really helpful and friendly staff and a very good experience.

-Difficult to get around if you have a Pram for kids. there are no internal ramps or access for wheels. if you want to go from room to pool, you have to exit the property, walk down the road and then enter through the lower entrance. -Bathrooms are old and shower head moldy

The nights were really cold; AC wouldn’t work on heat, when we complained about it the staff said it has something to do with the season and “you have blankets in the room”, yes we did but the night trips to the bathroom were painful haha. Also for a 4 star hotel with such a cold floor it was strange that they didn’t provide house shoes, maybe thats just common in Switzerland but other than that it was a wonderful stay. I can imagine there being zero problems if you come when the weather is actually warm!

Super clean, daily room service, private pool, quiet in may, bed was extremely soft, really nice pillows, beautiful view, really well kept garden, close location to the town (10 walking minutes) but secluded enough. We had a late check in and unfortunately the kitchen was closed but they were really thoughtful to provide a free dinner waiting for us which was really nice after a long flight!

Everything in the hotel is excellent, but the local beach is not very nice. You can barely enter the water as there are big stones which make you stumble. Also, the village Agia Galini is quite run down. We explored the beaches nearby which are way better than Agia Galini.

The hotel is great, and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is situated in a quiet location outside of the village Agia Galini. It is very close to the beach. The food quality is good, but not excellent. They serve traditional Greek cuisine, but some items at the buffet are too much cooked and the menu is quite repetitive.

The breakfast/dinner hall staff are sometimes too eager to clean up the tables. Also, a smile or two wouldn’t hurt anyone.

We have spent 2 amazing weeks in the hotel! The rooms are really big and comfortable! The whole hotel area is super beautiful and created with a lot of love! The buffet for breakfast and dinner is awesome and the food is super fresh, local and changed everyday! So there was a big choice for everyone! The staff was super nice and helpful in every occasion! The bar offers great drinks at night! The hotel is almost straight at the beach and you have a lot of beachbars there! We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have a great holiday in crete! Thank you irini mare!

The food at the breakfast wasn’t anything special, but it was good and plentiful. The coffee was also very good. My only criticism is the mattress was hard and uncomfortable..woke up stiff every morning. That should not be a deterrent, however..thee us ibuprofen for that!

the location for a family room was further away then any other rooms so having to walk with a 4 and 6 year old wasn’t ideal the pool was ice cold and really not suitable for children

Few things to mention: In an information note they asked parents to serve their children at the table instead of having children at the buffet due to covid. Reality is: children touching the food at the buffet and coughing over the food. Staff is observing the situation, but they dont do anything. Thats disgusting. Food is below standards: hot meals are not really warm and everything is totally overcooked. I know thats kinda “normal” for buffet-food but this was not our cup of tea. But l must add, the live cooking was outstanding and tasty. There was a family with a baby and the baby was with a nappy in the adults pool - no comment. Our a/c brook down and the room was flooded with water and the humidity and temperature was beyond nice. It can happen yes, but it took them 4-5 hrs trying to fix it and 4-5 calls from our side cos they always said “its fixed now”, but it wasnt. As l said it can happen and l understand but finally at 23pm they gave us hours later a new room with an upgrade. They handled they whole situation totally wrong and unprofessional. Overall: not what u can expect from a 4 star hotel. Please dont spend your money there, guess u ll find better places in the area and we were super glad that we just stayed for 2 nights and moved on and said to that place “never c u again”. Please note: the lady at the reception (I forgot her name), she was always very nice and polite but doesnt change the facts l mention above. There was also a very nice staff in the restaurant (blond girl, l forgot her name) and she was also super nice and friendly. The rooms are clean. They also wrote me an email after departure with apologises and yes they tried to improve things but from a hotel in that range u can expect they are offering a good standard and services from the beginning and not after u have to complain several times There were not really big issues but all those things added together made our stay not enjoyable at all.

Beds were alright, a bit short (190cm?) and the topper has seen some heavier guests. Bathroom feels "old" compared to the renovated room but was ok, you don't spend much time there anyways. Showerhead in an inconvenient corner of a bathtub...

Excellent breakfast/buffet. We enjoyed the dishes and in particular the large variety of vegetable dishes. Nice shaded pool area. The resort feels a lot smaller / more secluded than it is (ignoring the restaurant during buffet times). Nice place to stay when exploring the south side of Crete. Good price/quality ratio.
