Poland126 reviews26 helpful votesSuperbCons: - shower cabin in our apartment was tiny and had a curtain that often gets sticky (apparently some of the photos show the other apartment with glass door) - no dishwasher, most likely usual pipe-related stuff - but nothing really surprising but also not a huge issue - apartment is located just next to the main local road - it gets noisy sometimes due to large buses and trucks (plus airpspace traffic above, which is quite heavy), it can also be easily blocked due to improperly parked cars - apartment is pretty dark during the day (with natural light only) - location is quite remote, so better do proper shopping first - we did not receive any check-in information unless we called the host - it was stated that it's due to no prior information about the arrival time and it's true that we arrived a bit earlier (less than hour) but still quite uncommon, just not to say strange - minor: rusty shower shelf that needs an immediate replacement - minor: drying tray for dishes would really help as well as additional waste bins or addditional soap dispenser in the bathroom - minor: we had some issues with proper setting of AC - it didn't stick to set temperature and even 25-26 C was really cold (real feel around 20 C) but it may be only our fault - minor: we had some issues WiFi but it worked fine for most of the time
Pros: - apartment is nicely designed (fully renovated or newly built), spacious and clean - beds are very comfortable as well as the whole apartment in general - there are two separate AC units - one per each room - there is a parking spot next to the building (even though it's much safer for the car to be parked on the "wild" spot on the opposite side of street) - there were all basic amentities available - within walking distance from the beach We spent some great time over there and even though cons list looks rather extensive, we still recommend this place :)

Hungary36 reviews2 helpful votes“Very nice, large, new apartment, quiet neighborhood, close to the sea, nice helpful hosts.”Always put the apartment key in your pocket, because the door lock is such that it closes automatically, i.e. if you are outside on the terrace and the key is inside the apartment, you are locked out :))
The sea is a 5-8 minute walk. The neighborhood is quiet, close to two elegant hotels with parks, car rentals, and small family shops. The accommodation itself is aesthetic, practical and has everything. We didn't want hustle and bustle. We rented a car from the local dealer, with a relatively large discount, and traveled around the island that way. There are several beautiful bays within 8 kilometers. There is also a Lidl 4 minutes away by car.

The first one is a guy at the next-door apartment who was singing and playing buzuki (or guitar) every night from 22:30-00:00. We don’t mind that much cause we get to sleep at 00:00. The second issue was parking. Parking is on the same street where public buses are coming through, and everybody else. We have struggled with other neighbors to find a free spot and allow others to pass. And the third, the biggest problem, was the cleaning fee for cleaning the apartment and changing the towels. We know that we are in the apartment and we don’t want anyone to come to our apartment to clean it for free, but the 30€ fee is way too much. Also, there was a washing machine in the facilities section of the app booking, but there wasn’t there physically. Also, there isn’t any door in the shower, so you get your whole bathroom wet after just one showering…
It’s all new and comfortable, and the location is like 5 minutes driving from Hersonissos downtown. Alexis was a great host and we received a plate of fruits and a few bottles of water as a welcome. Nice touch. We got some of the our-mistake on the toilet paper flood issue, but it was fixed in 20 minutes. The plumber was fast and clean.
