In order to get the views the hotel is up a steep hill. So if you are walking into the resort centre, be prepared. However, although hard work for an unfit, nearly 60 year old, it only takes a few minutes and is definitely worth the effort to enjoy the fantastic views.

This is a boutique hotel that is immaculately clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Although there was no wardrobe or drawers there were plenty of shelves to put your clothes. We had taken coat hangers but I am sure if you asked, the hotel would provide! Drawers and wardrobes would have detracted from the cheque minimalist style of decor. This was not a problem at all for us. The room was cleaned daily. The staff were all very pleasant. We used the pool a lot and had it to ourselves each time!! It was extremely clean. The breakfasts were exquisite- such a variety of food, all fresh and definitely no English breakfasts!!! There was so much food. The hotel was very quiet, just as we like it. The hotel is up on a hill and has spectacular views. The walk into the resort centre takes about 10 to 15 minutes where there is a huge variety of shops and restaurants. Before getting to the centre, about a five minute walk are some lovely restaurants straight onto the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are considering going to Nidri.

The outdoor unit of A/Cs were noisy.

Beautiful view, excellent breakfasts, very friendly staff in Islands View. Nidri is a nice city, full of restaurants.

Quite honestly I have no fault with anything. Great location with breathtaking views, extremely clean and tastefully decorated room. The breakfast had a generous offering and the staff were fantastic.

some guests are not eco thinking of letting AC turned on for the whole day when they go for a trip. Besides of that it makes noise on the balcony then. AC here is powerful enough to cool down the room in 10 mins...

owner is a great host, friendly, respectful to all guests. breakfast is perfect - just like it should be - top!! The room and all places are perfectly clean.

We had such a fantastic welcome by Cobi and his family. The facilities are all very clean and there is a lovely spacious and relaxing feel to the Hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are amazing and these will keep you going throughout the day. The views from the hotel are stunning. There is nothing we would change, Island View is a relaxing oasis and we will definitely be returning.

Nothing really, but be aware it's a steep but short road into town - not suitable for anyone with mobility issues unless you're going to drive everywhere

The parking was challenging. We ended up parking at the bottom of the hill and just walking up & down the driveway. This worked best for us.

We loved the delicious breakfast every morning with the incredible view of the islands. The young ladies who served us breakfast were very sweet. Kobe would always check in with us every morning to see we how were doing and help us with our plans for the day. Our room had a spacious patio with an incredible view. I loved all the beautiful bougainvillea growing on the buildings. We had an amazing stay at the Islands View hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay just a short walking distance from Nidri.

Such an amazing boutique hotel! The rooms are very cosy, beautiful and clean. As is the whole property. And to wake up to such a wonderful view over the sea and the islands is a dream. There are also blinds/shutters so it was great to get the room dark during the night. Also the balcony is spacious. The location is PERFECT. Right outside the main street in its own peace. Just 10-15mins from the center of Nidri; taverns and shops. The uphill is not in our opinion too long or steep. Of course a small ascent but its worth the views and calmness. The breakfast needs its own hype. It is absolutely amazing. You can have special coffees, pancakes, muesli and yoghourt, french toast, omelettes, toasts, fresh fruits etc. And they serve you fresh homemade croissants, bread or muffins every morning. Best hotel breakfast we've ever had!! The owner and his son are such kind-hearted and helpful. Every day they asked how we are doing and we got a lot of great tips for the islands. They have created a warm and cosy atmosphere so you can just relax and enjoy. This hotel is such a dream and makes you wanna stay there the whole holiday. We heartily recommend Islands View!

The only thing I would pick out and i am being very picky is that there was no wardrobe to put clothes but I think that could be down to us only stay for 4 nights but it wasn’t much of an issue. And also the hill to get up and down and to the town area but then you wouldn’t have the fantastic views.

Everything was amazing! The breakfast was incredible. The room was lovely presented and the bed was so comfortable. A crib for our baby was even presented nicely and given a baby towel for him and soft bear. The bathroom was spacious and shower excellent pressure. The views from the balcony were lovely. The property itself was just lovely with different vegetables and flowers growing around it. The pool was fab and relaxing with great sun-beds and floats, there was even a jacuzzi part to the pool.

The breakfast was incredible. Such a nice concept, we really enjoyed it A LOT! Also the room was so beautifully designed, in a quiet area, close to the center, we really loved it. Above all, I do not have enough words regarding the staff. We instantly felt very welcomed there! Congratulations to the whole team.. they asked us everyday about our day in a very discreet manner, you've made us feel so good, we really thank you for everything! Beautiful and kind people in an incredible place.

The only thing that can be improved according to me is adding some small wardrobe and few hangers, for clothes to be stored, as well as some more luggage space (like some shelves or cabinets). Other than that, everything else was really well thought and designed.

Super clean and tidy! Recently renovated and very well maintained. Balcony and view were breathtaking! Breakfast was really tasty and all the products fresh! The host (owner) is an amazingly nice man, always willing to help and give advice for nice places and sights to see on the island! Strongly recommend this place!
