We had a wonderful week here - John and Xenia are very lovely hosts and make you feel welcome and at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and all the appliances are of high quality. The furniture is modern but the whole apartment feels very cozy. The pictures you see on the internet reflect exactly what the apartment looks like. The two bathrooms are very handy; everything works perfectly, including the water pressure in the shower. The en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom is a bit small, but very functional (the spacious bathroom in the hall with its big walk-in-shower makes up for it). We are a family of four (two teenage boys) and appreciated our separate spaces a lot. There is A/C in both bedrooms as well as in the living room (even though we did not need A/C since we stayed here in February; but it can also be used as additional heating). The mattresses of all the beds are comfortable. We had a very good sleep at night. Even though the flat is situated in a busy road, the noises coming from the street are not excessive. The closets in the two bedrooms are big and offer enough space for clothes to be hung and to be folded and put on shelves – simply perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, the only thing missing might be a dishwasher, but that did not bother us too much as we ate out almost all the time. The location of the flat is perfect: good restaurants and bars are only two steps away and the historical sites can be reached easily by foot within max. 20/25 minutes. We only used public transportation on arrival and to get to the airport: the train (blue line no. 3) takes you directly from the airport to Monastiraki Square and then it’s a five minutes’ walk to the apartment. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen and some capsules are also provided. The fridge is spacious, there is an oven and a microwave. There are enough dishes for 4 people; everything is impeccable. There is also a washing machine/dryer.

Our hosts, John and his wife, are really friendly and helpful. The apartment is superb and practically brand new and is way beyond our expectations. The apartment is very secured and is literally steps away from pedestrian zone with tons of restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful stay and will go back if we ever go back to Athens.

We don't even know where to begin, as every aspect of this accommodation is truly excellent. We were particularly impressed with the hospitality of our hosts, John and Alex, who displayed a remarkable level of hospitality. They went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. For instance, they offered to arrange a taxi from the airport to the property, assisted with our luggage, and were always prompt in responding to our messages. We initially stayed at this property for 2 days before heading to Santorini, with plans to return here. However, it was fully booked, so we ended up staying at another property. On our last day, finding a large van at a reasonable price for our substantial luggage was proving to be quite a challenge. We reached out to John for help, and he didn't disappoint. We truly appreciate his kindness. -As for the accommodation itself, the pictures on booking.com perfectly match the reality. Everything is in excellent condition, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. -There is a lift available, although you may need to carry your luggage up approximately 7 steps from the ground floor to reach it, which is not too challenging. -The location is superb, situated very close to numerous restaurants and Ermou shopping street. I felt safe walking around the area at night. There are plenty of souvenir shops nearby. Importantly, despite its proximity to restaurants, there is no disturbance from noise inside the apartment. -Getting from the airport to J&A is incredibly straightforward. If you prefer to take the metro, you can catch M3 at the airport and alight at Monastiraki station (just one stop after Syntagma station). After a 6-10 minute walk using GPS or Google Maps, you'll arrive at the property. However, if you have bulky luggage, it may be a bit challenging due to the cobblestone pavements common in Greece. If we ever have the chance to visit Athens again, we will undoubtedly choose J&A. We strongly recommend

Having to leave.

This was the most beautiful centrally located property. Very clean, very modern and very quiet. So easy to walk to anywhere and to any attractions. I would not stay anywhere else if I was to return to Athens. Host John was very helpful.
