How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was no such thing!
Great hosts - Kevin and Lou. Very helpful and friendly people. They care about their guests. The house itself is located in a very good location for exploring the island. It is also close to the nearest city. The pool and equipment of the house make it lack nothing.

The owners are simply adorable and so friendly. The place is marvellous, very quiet and only 3 minutes by car from the center of Kassiopi. The apartment is very convenient for a family. The pool is brilliant and private. As we were the only guests during the first week we had it for ourselves only. The terrace on the roof is perfect for a drink at sunset and for practicing yoga. There are beautiful sand beaches close to the apartment. Our favourite was Kalamaki beach : ideal with children and almost empty beginning of July with sun beds, umbrellas and clear water.

The flat is located up a hill from the village, a 15-20 minute walk each way. It certainly kept us fit! However, there are taxis in the village, which would take you back for 5 euros. Note that the local beaches are stony, so beach shoes are a must.
We were independent travellers and breakfast wasn't included. We had a fridge and cooking facilities, with a superette not far away. However we mostly ate in the nearby village of Kassiopi. Kevin, our host, was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him. When we asked for something, it was there almost immediately. Fabulous views of the mountains of Albania across the sea from our apartment. Really nice pool for the apartments.

The parking space could do with a bit of levelling as the hire car struggled up it.
The apartment was only a 5 min drive to lovely Kassiopi. It had a lovely view over olive groves to the sea in the near distance and then Albania. The owner was warm and welcoming and could not have done more for us.

Jalna Apartments is a fantastic accommodation near the lovely town of Kassiopi. The apartments are a good size with balconies looking across the water to Albania. The pool was lovely - a great temperature and kept clean. Very well kitted out including cooking utensils and Wi-Fi. Kev is a friendly and thoughtful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything about the apartment is amazing. It's lovely and modern, two balcony areas and a huge terrace and pool to enjoy too. The Aircon is great and the bathroom is lovely too. Kevin and Louise could not have been kinder hosts. Lots of little touches and extras which made the holiday even better. Absolutely will be back and telling everyone we know to stay at Jalna and to visit magical Kassiopi

Nothing not to like.
I cannot rate this lovely property highly enough ! The apartment itself is amazing, together with the pool and the incredible views. The location is superb, and all of these huge positives are matched by Kevin himself, the owner, who will go out of his way to make your stay exceptional. he’s a great host. Thos apartment is a little gem not to be missed.

We had a wonderful stay at Jalna Apartments. Kev was a fantastic and knowledgeable host, who was happy to provide recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was perfect and the pool was brilliant. Our kids (4 and 7) had so much fun and we were well looked after. We loved the local beaches and proximity to Kassiopi which has a beautiful harbour. We would happily recommend Jalna to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Corfu.

Location was perfect for Kassiopi and, with the car, further afield. Kevin the owner was lovely and welcoming. Pool was fabulous as was apartment. Favourite evening location the rooftop terrace for the fabulous views

Kevin and Lou are amazing hosts, taking care of us as we would be one family. Always friendly and responsive even for smallest requests. The place is awesome, quite intimate, surrounded by a beautiful garden, with great pool area enjoyed very much by our kids. Fabulous view from the roof top terrace which was our spot for evening drinks. The appartment was very comfortable, well equipped, toilet and shower were new and very clean, cleaning every Sunday, bedsheets changed every week. Air condition better than expected, we got cold couple of nights ;) Great grocery store nearby (not the cheapest one, but selling home made tzatziki - I think I had 3 tonnes of it during our 3 weeks stay. Short distance to Kassiopi, you could even take a 20 min walk, however we used always a car. Fantastic for Family holidays for 2 families - in that case the property would be for exclusive use of guests. We will be back for sure!
