Nothing I didnt like, only concern would have been ♿ access. It is built on the side of a slight hill. I had injured my leg before travel and was using a stick. Fortunately Johannes gave us a low floor at the front of the complex so I avoided the steeper hill and most of the steps.

Everything, the pool, the bar, the rooms, the staff, the customers, the sun and the atmosphere. It is a multinational apartment complex but everyone spoke to you and as most Greeks Germans and Nordics speak English it was easy to communicate.

Only downside was I was not aloud to pay using my travel card for drinks and food throughout day which was a pain as charged for withdrawals at machines . I guess they get charged per transaction as large room payment I was allowed. Also keeping track of drinks daily didn't seem to be very reliable. Just scribbled bill at end of day . Which we happily always paid . I would have preferred to be given receipts with drinks as we went . All said we will definately return next year . Lovely place staff and family .

2nd stay here and we loved it once again . Yanis cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable.

All the facilities were at a very high standard. The apartment was very spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The place itself is highly maintained, very clean and quiet. The host was very welcoming and warm and went out of his way to accommodate our requirements and make us feel comfortable.

Very friendly, kind and caring staff. Everyone was happy to help in case we had any questions. Very customer-oriented service! Everything was clean and the pool was beautiful. The aparments have nice furniture. Kitchen had all the equipment needed. The host offered very delicious traditional Greek food twice a week, vegetarian and vegan options were also available, which is a huge plus! Calm and peaceful environment, perfect for families. There was a car rental agency nearby which was very convenient. Quite many tavernas nearby as well that offer great food! Thank you for everything, we truly had a wonderful time at Johannes apartments!

Our stay was perfect. We had a very warm welcome from them. Everyone is kind . The room has everything you need: a refrigerator, an air conditioner, a hair dryer, a very comfortable bed and a nice balcony with a view of the sea. Housekeeping is done daily. There is also a large parking lot. You can park your quad without any worries: no theft in the Island and on the beach. Thanks you again :)

The general location of the apartments would not be ideal for those without a car, there is a large supermarket right next door, but other than that there isn't very much going on in the immediate area. The beach would be a good 10-15 minutes walk at the very least. The pool was very cold which was quite disappointing as I do enjoy swimming every day when on holiday, which unfortunately I didn't end up doing because it was so cold. The 'living area' was quite uncomfortable as the only seating in there other than the dining room chairs were 2 x single beds, which were not ideal to sit on as they were on wheels! The TV in that room also did not work. We ended up having to relax/watch TV in the bedroom most of the time which was quite annoying as the reason we choose apartments rather than hotels is because we like to have an additional space other than the bedroom to relax in. There was also a shortage of usable plug sockets in the bedroom, it was quite challenging for my partner to use the mirror when doing her hair as there were no sockets nearby for the hairdryer and straighteners.

Johannes and his family were very welcoming. The pool area, bar area and gardens were very nice. The room that we stopped in looked like it had recently been refurbished and the bathroom was very nice by Greek standards. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Our stay there was very quiet and we weren't disturbed by any other guests whilst we were there..

Nothing really. Just the view from our balcony to one side was a supermarket and there were lots of pallets stacked there so not the most attractive .

Only minus I can figure of this place is a busy road next to property. The noice did not bother at all, but was slighty unpleasant to walk with children.

It’s a wonderfully decorated, tranquil, family run place with very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a walking distance from several kilometres long beach of Afantou, which is a very calm place to spend relaxing days. I was travelling with children without car and it was easy to move by walk or bus.

We loved the apartment, the pool area and the restaurant/bar area. We loved all of it. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and modern. Johannes and his family are so friendly and helpful. Such beautiful grounds so well kept and clean. Would highly recommend staying at Johannes Apartments.

Only down side is that Afandou is quite spread out, so ideally need a car to get about.

Amazing accommodation. Really well presented, very clean and tidy. Host was lovely. Quiet accommodation, never an issue to get by the pool. Food and drinks very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend, and we will likely rebook for another visit.

Location wise it was a bit further out so we had to get the cab everywhere but most locations were within 30 minutes which was good. However there is a bus stop outside the hotel which can take you directly into falaraki.

The staff were amazing! So lovely and welcoming. Our flight was delayed by 10 hours and they kept checking in with us to see if we needed transport from the airport. The breakfast was lovely and very filling. The rooms were a good value for money, the three of us had one double bed and a single.
