A/C worked only when you were in the room, but you can live with that.

Is it located very close to the beach in a qiuet street. The bed was comfy. The A/C has been worked only when a keycard was in the slot, so it was getting hot a littlebit when you were gone. The kitchen could be a wec bit better equipped. But overall it was a very good accomodation, I'll book it next year too.

Very nice, cozy and clean apartment, equipped with everything (balcony, kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, etc.) in the center of Platanias, a few steps from the beach and the square where the main bus stop is. Very nice and helpful owner. Shopping malls, super markets, bars, taverns and restaurants are within walking distance. Excellent price considering the costs of nearby structures.

I have just returned from a stay in this location. I was accommodated in a very clean apartment, equipped with everything necessary, close to the beach, and the host was very kind. We will definitely return to this location with great pleasure!

Wifi didn't the reach the bedroom of our apartment but was good in the private living area. Probably that's not the case with other apartments in the house.

Great location, very friendly family host, super clean apartment. Apartment was cleaned everyday which is incredible. Big balcony with lovely side view of Platanias Beach. Free parking in front of the house. Plenty of supermarkets and places to eat and drink within walking distance. Definitely recommended. We would love to stay here again.

The sink was leaking water all over the floor, and there was no shower curtain. Resulting in a completely wet toilet and bathroom. Dried up quickly, but still.

The location was perfect! Everything within walking distance, yet a very quiet and nice neighborhood. Really comfortable beds and aircondition with sleeping/silent mode.

The property is perfectly located on a quiet street, less than 1 minute to the beach and less than 5 minutes to the busy city center with shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are big and comfortable, extremely clean, the wifi is very good and the large balconies are great. The owners are a really nice family, very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and highely recommend this place, really great value for money.

The bathroom is very small, there are no curtains between shower and toilet because of small space so water will spark over toilet. However, this didn't present an issue for us since everything functioned as it should.

This is one of the best hosting experiences I had. The location is great, near the main street with restaurants and shops for evening walking and also near the sand beach. Also from my experience, this is a much better location than some closer to Chania (crowded and not so nice walking area). The owner and his family are great, very kind and very helpful always available to give you any kind of information. I rented a car with my girlfriend and we didn't have an issue with the part near this property. The room was great, with a big double bed with a soft mattress, also the size of the room was big. It can be seen they put the effort into details and you can find a lot of small things/ appliances in the room. There is everything you need to create lunch or expresso if you want to. In the room are also a dining table, Balkon with 2 chairs, table, and an umbrella so you can enjoy coffee or breakfast that you made in the morning. Beach near the apartment is very big and you have a lot of options where to swim. If there are strong North winds (July August) and you cannot swim because of the red flag your closes option is 8km Agiou Apostoli where you can also surf :), or visit some other beach in the south with a car. In our case during July, for 3 days we had strong winds and decided to try surfing for the first time :). I recommend highly this place for couples, who want a good base to stay for exploring the west create. At night if you don't want to travel to Chania with you are near to a good part of Platanias for a nice evening walk. I must also commend, they cleaned the room every day and changed sheets and towels often.

John sent an email before we left Sweden to check if we were taking the bus or taxi. We arrived 11.30pm to Johns Appartment and John, his wife and son were there to help us with bags and everything, lovely people!

It was our second stay at the property, our first stay was great facing the street but this time we stayed in room 4 in the back of the building and wi-fi wasn’t strong enough there, it barely worked, we had sun on the balcony from noon till late in the evening, which made it impossible to use during the day, there was also a restaurant nearby on that side of the building so it was quiet only after 12.00 at night.

The property location is very good, one minute from the beach, it is very clean, with all the amenities needed. Although we arrived very early, our room was ready and we are very grateful for that.

The shower was missing a shower curtain so a lot of water goes on the floor when you shower.

A nice and quiet hotel. Very good value for money, big room with good AC and very friendly staff. Close to both the beach and shops.
