Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandNothing to add.
Location was perfect,15 minutes (or less) from airport by car. You can reach the beach in 3, 4 mins by foot (Perea beach, which is quite nice). Bus stop near by (easy to reach Thessaloniki, etc. / tip: buy bus tickets at any "4all" store). You can also take a "boat bus" to reach Thessaloniki and other destinations - very pleasant especially if you are with kids. There are several mini markets near the accommodation and people are kind & speak English, but I would suggest going to "Masoutis" from a variety and price stand point, especially if you want to buy a few things. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. We were 2 adults and 4 children and we had everything we needed to have a very pleasant stay. Host was super nice and helpful prior and during our whole stay. Highly recommend this apartment!

UkraineVery cozy, spacious and well equipped apartment. From the balcony you can see the mountains and watch the sunrise. The sea is 5 minutes walk. All the necessary shops, pharmacies, transport stops within walking distance. The town is small but very cozy, the sea is very comfortable, the beaches are narrow but there is enough space. A lot of restaurants, cafes with reasonable prices. The hosts are very friendly, always in touch.

United StatesEverything was really Great and I have no idea how many Americans travel to Greece but 1 English channel would of been nice. Unfortunately I only speak and understand American English so TV watching ended up to be something I did not do. The wifi is very good so many people know how to get TV regardless but at middle age I am not up on all the new tech stuff. Other than that there is nothing that was forgotten in the apartment. It is set up you could easily just live there.
This was a self catering so breakfast was my own affair and it was very good. The location is great. Not directly on the beach but less than 5 minutes away. Staying here was the great. you had the best of both cities. The beach city of Perea and the huge city of Thessaloniki. I did not know this when I arrived but walking the beach front I saw the sign for the boat shuttle. For 5 euros a trip they take you to Thessaloniki by boat, great for sun tanning and now your location you can walk and see many of the sights of the city but return to the boat landing by 5PM local time for the last boat back to Perea. You still have time to go swimming and then choose from numerous restaurants on the beach or inside for a spectacular dinner or go bad to Jonnies place and make dinner yourself. You got 2 balconies to chose from and they have a slight breeze so you never are to warm. The prices in this small cozy town for what you get are much less and this small cozy town has everything you need with in walking distance. My apartment at Jonnysplace had everything to cook with enjoy with and be totally comfortable. This by far was a very good choice

North MacedoniaIt is marked on the booking as beachfront property but it is not. It is in the middle of urban area (no any visual connection with beach or see). We were not on beach holiday so it did not matter to us, but fairness is very important at any online booking platform.
Friendliness of the father of the owner.
