Loved the location Room was large and comfy. No staff,. totally self check-in. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and mini market next door. Great stay. No onsite parking.

The outdoors, immediate surroundings could use some touch-ups!

It was really clean, right on the boardwalk - 10 meters from the beach, kitchen fully equipped and really comfortable beds and pillows!

Oven hot mornings: scorching hot terrace/windows and room because there is no terrace curtain/umbrella and no exterior windows wood panels like top floor have. Inside drapes help only with light not the heat. Thus the terrace table cannot be used for breakfast or lunch. Washed dish support full of rust should be replaced immediately as it is a health hazard. Bed wall frame has thick layer of dust on top. Many ants in the balcony having a highway to go to top balcony. Every night for 8 nights between 20-24 hours the beach bar across the windows will play music. Problem is not how loud they play but the use of large speakers with high bass setting and inside the room only the bass boom boom is heard over the large windows vibration (in a way is better if you open windows) Building exterior (empty reception) / access yard tiles/steps are in advanced degradation. The location is under airplane landing path so from time to time there will be some noise from those at the level of a noisy car passing by.

AC can be run when away and you need to. Outside terrace and view usable for dinner. Good kitchen. Large room and bed. Good washing machine.

On arrival there was no botteled water waiting for us (late arrival 1. Am all stores closed). Also you expect that apartment for 1000 € / 7 days has basic cooking stuff as peeper/salt, oil. There were only 2 rols of toilet paper. The terace faces east, and it lacks some sort of shade, so that you could enjoj breakfast in the morning. As sun is kinda hot even at 8 am.

New luxury interior, spaceus apartment, big terace, vercinity to sea, alot of parking avalible on street, close to some shops and restaurants. Just right distance from hersonosos... taxi 12- 15 €. They even cleaned apartment once (i would preffer if they would do it 2. In 7 days. Dont let the "didnt like part" feel like that propety isn't good, it just has a meaning to let the maneger know what bothered us moast, and lets you prepare with extra watter for first night, and being prepared to buy salt peper ect. We left our own in appartment trough.

Balcony heavily exposed to sunlight. Very hot even at breakfast time. Wifi connectivity kind of instable. Sometimes connection lost but never for long period. Shop upfront in construction with metal sticking out on pathway to the appartment.. Not an issue for us but very small kids would need a hand.

Beach with crystal clear water across the street. Shops and Watersports neighbouring. Relativ silent with still beach restaurants across the street. Fair Pricing everywhere. Public Bus from airport to location 45 minutes. 15 minute walk from highway bus station 16. 2,5 € per person. Host responding to messenger in all questions in time. Village center 800 Meter up the street with very good mixed grill location mezo bar.

Extremely poor wifi. Also, there is a hole somewhere between the bath and the wall. When water gets there, it starts flowing on the floor.

There is everything you need for the long stay. Also, the location is very good and the bed was comfortable.

The Kahlua Bay Apartments were a fantastic base during my brief stay in Crete. Close to the beach and the various shops and bars, the space was clean, fresh and had everything I needed. The large bed was super, comfortable, great shower and kitchen facilities plus a fab terrace. Alexandros was super with his communication and helped me to organise transport from the airport too. If I’m in the area again I would definitely stay here, a great base to explore this part of the island.
