Much further from Archanes than expected & definitely not walkable so to avoid driving didn’t use the restaurants there we planned to.

Huge well equipped rooms (suite), spotlessly clean, lovely pool & gardens, good parking on site. Discovered 2 excellent tavernas for eating & drinking in village just 7 mins walk away.

Bathroom a bit small, but efficient.

The place is beautiful. The countryside around Heaklion with vineyards and olive trees deserves a tour. Breakfast in the garden was delicious, and personnel very friendly and helpful. Room for three is very spacious.

Lovely place with stunning views of the countryside. We really enjoyed our stay relaxing in the pool and exploring the area to end the day having a lovely meal in the village restaurants. Very clean and very nice friendly staff

We really needed some resting and quiet time, and this hotel was just perfect for that! We slept like logs and enjoyed the quiet around the swimming pool. We totally recommend it to young parents who are having a little break from their baby, such as ourselves :)

Sofa beds were a little hard for a comfortable sleep but our host provided extra bedding which sorted this out

Exceptional host - this accommodation should have 5 star rating based on how welcoming the staff are and the fact this is the best kept place we saw in Crete. Beautiful grounds, with herbs and flowers and the pool is in a lovely location.

You need a car to meet the activities

Very relaxing place in the wine region of Iraklion. Lovely and attentive staff helped us more than I expected. The place felt like having a pleasant micro climad. We stayed there during that super hot July 2023 and it was just perfect there all the time. There is a very good restaurant in the village. The pool js great.

There was one small problem: parking. It's quite spacious, but the access is a bit risky, especially if you have a rental car that you're not used to. We simply parked on the street a little below the hotel's gate. Maybe it wasn't entirely by the book, but it didn't cause any problems either. The second issue is that you need to know the hotel is located right in the middle of nowhere. Okay, it's quite close to Heraklion and the Palace of Knossos. But if you want to go to the beaches, you have a choice between terribly crowded beaches around Heraklion, and God forbid, Malia... probably the most disgustingly overcrowded beach we've ever seen, or the beaches on the south of the island, which are accessible through winding mountain roads that can be quite challenging to navigate with a weak engine, like the Peugeot 108 we rented. The best option is the beaches to the west of Matala, which are a bit over an hour away via Road 97 through Heraklion, leading to Kommos Beach just west of Matala. Matala, although charming, is terribly crowded, while Kommos offers a wide expanse of pebbles with an incredible stereo effect: the sound of waves and the "singing" of cicadas. So you can spend a day at Kommos Beach, having quite a spacious area around you and only the sounds of nature, and in the evening, you can go to Matala for dinner, enjoying a charming but not as spectacular as the Polish Baltic Sea sunsets.

The room was really spacious, thanks to the mezzanine where the bed was located, creating a very cool effect, both a romantic atmosphere and a space for a kitchenette. There was a fridge, a stove, and all the necessary accessories for preparing meals on our own. The balcony was fantastic, filled with the loud chirping of cicadas and overlooking the surrounding hills, allowing us to witness a stunning sunrise in the morning and relax at night after a day full of sightseeing and lazing on the beach during our vacation. The whole place was situated in an incredibly well-maintained and flower-filled environment; we truly admired the effort the gardener must have put into its upkeep. Additionally, there was a wonderfully blue pool where we could have our breakfasts. The breakfasts were surprisingly good, especially considering our previous experiences in Greece. Moreover, the staff was very friendly, with special greetings to the lady who welcomed us every day with incredible joy and shared her dreams of travelling to Peru. We wish her dreams come true!

Everything was great! The room was more spacious than we expected, spotless and very comfortable. Mrs. Anna and all the staff were very helpful and professional.. They made us feel like home. Set in a green scenery, in the nature, ideal for calm and relaxing holidays. Only a few minutes away from the village of Archanes as well as some historical sights such as Knossos. We will definitely visit it again in the future and we highly recommend it!!

Hotel restaurant was not open in the evening. No restaurant nearby, nearest are some kilometers from hotel. No bus connection to Iraklion.

Breakfast was good. Room was good and view from balcony was nice. From Iraklion is easy to come by car or taxi.
