Room was a bit small (although owner upgraded us for the first night with a cottage but we did not like it so much and changed for a regular room), Way to the hotel is a bit pain in the neck especially at night (we damaged our car because of it), no garbage can outside room

Given the daily price I would appreciate a coffee machine in the room. Moreover the hotel bar is a bit overpriced considering they are selling their own wine ( glass prices) The communication between the hotel and the winery was a bit slow. Our friends were from Spain and the winery visit group were mainly Greeks so we felt they didn’t get the full experience.

The hotel entrance and all the rooms are very tastefully decorated balancing between classic and modern. Bed was comfy and the toiletries were caudalie. The breakfast was exceptional, big sweet and savoury variety, very tasty .

The location is relatively nowhere related to the city center, where the restaurants are. (Mind the fact that there is a restaurant in place at the hotel, available for breakfast only).

The hotel is very nice, in a quiet area of Metsovo. Only 800m walking distance from the central square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with traditional products, soups and food. The wine tour of the winery cellars, located next to the hotel, is very interesting. Book the wine tasting experience together with a cheese platter.

Not a dislike but tea and coffee in the room would have been nice On our last visit there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. It was a shame to not have one this time.

Nighttime noise was a bit of a bother. Our room was located right on the road. It was a warm, so we wanted the windows open. This meant that a persistent scooter/motorcycle going up and down the road was a bit annoying.

We specifically chose this hotel because it is part of the Katogi Winery, a producer of one of our favorite wines. The room and bathroom was incredibly spacious, clean and modern. We had to leave VERY early in the morning, so unfortunately we did not get to try the included breakfast. The wine tour and tasting in the building next to the hotel was wonderful. The walk into town was easy. And the staff recommendations for what to do in the town and where to eat were perfect.

Absolutely beautiful place in enchanting Metsovo. Lovely people, very large comfortable and super clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent. The are is just breathtakingly beautiful. We went hiking and swimming in the lake. The restaurant/wine bar is very good as well. Metsovo is wonderful, the town is a bit to overwhelmingly tourist oriented and busy but the area is fantastic, would most definitely recommend to go and to stay here at the Katogi Averoff.

There is no conditioner in the room, the fan is ok, but noicy and windy.
