Both at check-in and at check-out the reception was empty and we had to call for someone to come. Too bad, because everything else was excellent.

We loved everything!

Katouna Suites is absolutely idyllic and beautifully designed. We stayed in a junior suite which was well designed, stylish and comfortable- you could watch the sun rise from your bed! It had a wonderful relaxing, tranquil atmosphere. The infinity pool and views were to die for. The service from the staff was exceptional. The breakfasts, served on the terrace next to the pool each day were a highlight and absolutely delicious. Katouna Suites was within walking distance to a nearby village which had an amazing restaurant- Mastello. It was good to have a hire car with which to explore the island - although we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the hotel!

Where to start.. this place has the whole package! Views/ room quality/ amazing breakfast/ friendly staff/ beautifully kept gardens. The rooms are all modern and stylish. Their is a bar and mini bar in your room too. We visited the local restaurant just up the hill, the atmosphere is so lovely and welcoming there. You do ideally need a car to sightsee as it’s very remote. Lefkada harbour is very beautiful with lovely bars/ restaurants, you can easily just take a stroll and stop off for a bite to eat/ drink as we did. We visited the castle directly across the mountains which is now unfortunately just ruins, the local farmer let’s his cattle roam. However on the drive back we discovered a old town that was destroyed by a earthquake and that was very pretty. It had baby pigs/ lambs etc just roaming it was lovely. Beaches lovely. We drove down to the one with the 100 steps with the broken bridge, was lovely. Made a stop for a beautiful Greek salad on route in a restaurant called Greco Levante it was lovely. So many people would drive past then you’d see them reverse and come in. The views are also very beautiful. So all in all if your lucky enough to stay at the katouna spa I’m very envious as it truly is stunning.

None - as a small suggestion for other tourists, it would be easier to rent a car for exploring the island.

This boutique hotel has definitely exceeded my expectations. The room is spacious and clean. The design overall is modern. The facility is well-equipped. I personally really liked the view from the balcony. The room has also floor to ceiling windows so again the view is amazing from inside the room. The staff are really friendly. The breakfast is also a can’t-miss. Different breakfasts were provided on my stays which was a surprise. They also gave me some bakery as gift when check-out which was very nice. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely come back for this if I visit the island of Lefkanda again.

There is nothing I don't like about Katounas Suites, a thousand times I choose it as a stay for my vacation in Lefkada. I am very happy to have been in that wonderful place, to have met and shared with such beautiful people from the hotel staff.
