Being super critical (really not a problem); I personally didn’t like the coffee served at breakfast & I felt there maybe could have been 1 or 2 more staff working at breakfast.

The hotel was immaculate, bedrooms all seemed spacious with comfy beds. I particularly liked the room with its private pool, all of the facilities were modern & well thought out. The health suite smelt beautiful & the staff were very good at welcoming you & making you relaxed with a variety of treatments. The hotels customer service representative would always do what she said, nothing was ever a problem. That being said the entire hotel team were super friendly. One other thing to point out is that the hotel is child friendly, & for a hotel of this calibre it is quite rare!

It would have been good to have a little more information about what was included in the stay. We were told that the spa was run wellness centre was ran independently but we weren’t told that the pool, steam room & sauna were all included in our room bookings

Lunch finishes too early.

There's plenty to shout about, spacious room, buffet offerings were great, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. In particular, I was impressed by the poolside Sax entertainment, especially as he took requests. The poolside watermelon was also a hit too! Lastly, I ended my trip with a spa experience that didn't let me down. Just what I needed before the new season.

Nothing! We were nervous due to lack of reviews as it was a fairly newly opened hotel but we had no need to worry. Highly recommend! The decor was very upmarket & staff very attentive

The spa permitted small children in the pool area which meant their screaming and noise distracted from the relaxing atmosphere. Not all rooms get the sun during the day so the sun loungers on the balcony are in the shade.

Be mindful of location of the rooms. A lot of rooms are next to paths people walk by, that reduces the privacy. Initially we were given a different room, an "upgrade". While room was bigger and it had pool not jacuzzi, we specifically did not want this room as it had no privacy. Sitting in pool would be close by feet where people walk by. Cant change in rooms with curtains open = cant really have the sea view. Also we booked a room that looks like its on upper floors with nice sea-view. Choices we were offered where not great, did not have the privacy level (again, first floors next to pathway). Took multiple talks to get something close to what we ordered. So that overall feels like false-advertisement. They should separate good view rooms from rest. We both did not drink alcohols. Regular sodas were available in all-inclusive, but non alcoholic cocktails choices were limited, only 6. Other cocktails that can be done in non-alcoholic way (e.g. Mojito) were not on list. When asked for it, we failed most of times when we got respond, that they cannot make non alcoholic mojito. One of servers said thats not a problem and we managed to get it. If this is 5 star hotel - that should not be an issue, there should be plenty of choices.

Overall experience was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. I did order flower bouquet to surprise my wife during anniversary's and they prepared it, delivered it at right time. Wife was happy :) We were on all-inclusive. Food choices were plenty - meat, fish, slightly less if your vegan. But it did become repetitive while staying there for 1 week and mostly eating in. I would suggest hotel to get more local cosine. If you want to take bed by the pool, its best to be there by 10:00, otherwise in sunny day it gets taken. We were in early october - it was not that sunny. Be aware, that pools are not heated and they felt too cold. But might be just us, as other people where swimming.

Our stay in king minos was wonderful. We had high expectations and they were definitely met and even better. Definitely a hotel we would recommend and definitely a hotel we will return to. Food was good, service was really very good. Rooms to dream of.

Some of the stuff were a bit arrogant and rude. We asked for a bottle of water during our dinner and the waitress said us with a strange tone that normally we have to pay for our bottle ( we didn't have any objection of course ) but she would fill our grasses so as not to pay like she was doing us a favor. We didn't find that very polite .

Our room, the facilities, the food and most of the stuff were absolutely amazing. The location was very close to the center and the beach . I would happily visiting the hotel again.

Buffet food wasn’t great, would have been good if all restaurants were a la carte considering the price paid for the hotel. Allergy information should have been provided with the dish labels rather than having to speak with a chef / member of staff as this made the buffet a non relaxing experience. Drinks service in the buffet restaurant was slow - by the time our drinks came we’d finished our meal. Would be good if someone showed you to your table so they could take a drinks order straight away - you are able to walk in & choose a table so sometimes no one notices you for a long period of time. Some staff members weren’t very friendly or accommodating (some pool bar staff). Disconnect / lack of communication between staff members which impacted the service (possibly because the hotel has just reopened but needs to be fixed). Hersonissos is a very large touristy town so okay if you don’t plan to leave the hotel but definitely not the nicest area of Crete for a relaxing Greek experience.

Really nice hotel, really liked the pool & the evening entertainment (very classy entertainment, not cheesy). Pool snacks / lunch menu was really nice (extra fee but worth it). Room was nice & clean, good facilities in the room.

Food was a let down, not a very good selection or variety each day. Couples using their own speakers by the pool and smoking weed around the pool where there are kids.

Staff are very friendly and attentive. Property and facilities are brand new It was clean and well kept.

The hotel were obviously desperate to fill the rooms and spoiled a great offering by selling rooms to budget holiday companies who were offering the same rooms to questionable guests for much much less than the price we paid

The breakfast was very good as was the a la carte restaurant and the location. The pool area was fantastic and all of the staff, with the exception of one person on the reception desk, were lovely. Our overall stay was good but was spoiled somewhat by the quality of guests brought in by budget holiday companies and my daughters last night was completely ruined by the party in the next room which the very rude person on reception refused to get involved with several times, even after 1.00 AM

Most bothering was the smoking that is allowed in all areas especially the pool. Food was generally good in the buffet but the a la carte restaurant was bad (The dishes were overcooked or just not tasty) Part of the staff were unpleasant
