Monemvasia si a beautiful place. Staying at kissamitakis guest house you are in an ancient walled city and still have all the facilites of modern life, even more than in our home. We could hace hot showers, wash our clothes, heat water, make orange juice... George has everything you need and more for a confortable stay (cofee maker, steam iron, tv, tablet games, books and magazines of monemvasia...) He even left food for us to make breakfast. George was always present for everything we needed. The main showers is outside the house, but is something we already knew for the descripción. It is logical given the ancient place and was no burden at all. You came off the shower, saw the ocean and inmediatly entered the main room. Exceeded our expectations in every way.

loved everything!

The location was outstanding- right in the heart of everything! The staff (Gianna) was so helpful and patient. It took us a very long to arrive (2.5hrs late) and she was very helpful in meeting us, showing us to the location, pointing out key spots and making recommendations for restaurants. The view from the balcony was amazing!!

- Only thing I'd say is that the tap water tasted awful. Not sure if this is an issue across Monemvasia but I'd recommend taking plenty of bottled water

- The owner, George, met us at the property and was a font of knowledge about the local area and its history. - George did everything he could to make the stay as comfortable as possible - Lovely sunrise view from the balcony - Beers in the fridge is always a winner 😁

We liked everything. It took a little while to find one of the light switches but that was more amusing than annoying.

It was a wonderful apartment, very conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. Our host arranged for someone to meet us near the entrance to the city and guide us to the apartment.

Wonderful little apartment in the heart of the medieval city, with all the facilities and an amazing terrace. The host Giorgos was very helpful in guiding us to get there, and his friend Iana showed us around with precious insider information. Warmly recommend if you want to live the full Monemvasia experience at a very affordable price!

Central location, very clean, quiet accomodation. Even though George (the owner) was not there at the time of our visit he had everything perfectly arranged so that our check-in & check-out were flawless. Will definitely return !

As senior adults(late 70’s), we found the steps difficult. The bathroom was downstairs, and the bedroom upstairs. It was a traditional guest house so we should have expected this.

loved the terrace…spent relaxing time there. Liked the quietness of the upper town. The property was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the owner providing a lot of helpful information ahead of our arrival. Parking was of concern, but there was a bus every 30!minutes …no luggage, but we unloaded at the gate, parked at the bottom and rode bus back up.

Excellent location within the castle, close to everything (shops, restaurants, the beach, the historic section at the top of the hill). Spacious, clean and well equipped. If it's important to you, do inquire about the rooftop patio, as one is much larger and has a better view than the other.

Absolutely adorable little house in the center of Monemvasia. It had everything we needed and more (could have easily stayed here for a week: there’s books, board games, Bluetooth speaker, smart tv with Netflix, a lovely roof terrace to enjoy). Our stay was very comfortable. We loved the personal touches in the interior and the comfort of the bedroom. The host waited for us at the city gate and showed us the way to the house and also gave tips about what to see and do. Location is perfect; super close to the center where bars and restaurants are but in a quiet area. Close walking distance to everything. Would absolutely recommend.

The property was placed on the main street of Monemvasia, right above the shopping area. It was perfectly placed to get to everything easily, but also quiet. The house itself had all the modern amenities, but had maintained its original charm.

The only thing was the wifi router that’s on the wall shines bright at night and i covered it with a towel so I could sleep properly

The location is pretty perfect you can’t get much better about that. The roof top is beautiful as well. The house has everything you need pretty much.
