Incredible location. Staff very accommodating, friendly and hard working, despite weather challenges in April. There were gale force winds that made everything difficult, but staff always came through.

The room was meant to feel built into a cave but it felt more like a concrete fabrication that you might find in a theme park. It was quite small for the price. Steep steps to all the rooms No privacy - the rooms are directly overlooked.

This is a very unique hotel which is designed as if you are staying within a cave on the island of Santorini. The views were incredible. Our room had an outdoor hot tub as well as an indoor cave pool. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, and romantically decorated our room for our honeymoon. They were also very accommodating and helpful, and helped us book a professional photoshoot as well as a boat tour. The breakfast was also incredible and they gave us the option of having it delivered to our room to eat on our outdoor sitting area. We also really enjoyed that Kivotos was in a quieter part of the island (Imerovigli), and it was so so peaceful We are so happy we spent our 3 nights in Santorini at Kivotos!

This is a very unique, exceptionally beautiful property. The reception staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. We were welcomed by awesome cocktails by these lovely bartenders. On the whole we had a great stay at Kivotos . Would highly recommend.

5* hotel but not given 5* service especially in the restaurant for hotel guests. Not exclusive and off putting tourists when trying to sunbathe or get in the pool.

The location is amazing and stunning views, breakfast was ok we did not get the full range on the breakfast menu once in our stay, had to ask for orange juice every morning and the head male waiter in the restaurant was rude and actually stated breakfast had finished and had a real attitude. We were sat dow for last orders 11am and We waited 40min for breakfast with only one other large table of local guests.(We shouldn’t have had to ask for the items there is a fixed menu with only one chosen option on hot food) The food was lovely but spoiled by the staff in the restaurant. Only one young lady with blonde hair was a credit and tried hard every time we saw her, didn’t get her name sorry 😢. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and excellent location. The hotel staff are excellent and offer help to book excursions and taxes, we registered with reception on whats app and they answered swiftly every time. The hotel has amazing views. however if you want privacy good luck, it’s right on a public walkway and the staff do not stop tourists walking in to see the view (you are paying over £600 a night for!!) Very off putting if you are a little self conscious in a bathing suit and want to use the main pool. They can also look over at the hot tubes in room 10 and 2 other suits below. The room we stayed in was very nice modern and had all the mod cons but a little dark and no real natural light, we had an inside pool and it was lovely but had no outside space to sit at, the seating area was above the pool and got very hot and humid. had I known I may have chosen a different hotel as it was the only room left in our hotel on the time of booking. (We had room 5 the only room without outside space to relax in) Overall the hotel was a very pleasant stay and santorini it self is amazing and would definitely recommend!

Everything was wonderful! The room was a little dark, but you had control over all the lighting colors and could open the main door to the room to let more light in as needed.

The hot tub was not as hot as we would have liked and the steam room took a while to get hot.

This is a truly unique property in Santorini. The rooms are something that I have never experienced before. We had the villa with the Indoor pool and Hamman Baths and the pictures do not do this place justice. The staff was extremely accommodating and the breakfast was next level. It was a 3-course meal for breakfast every morning. Honeymooners might be fixated on staying in Oai but this hotel is very close to Fira were all the fun stuff happens so I highly recommend staying here.

As an recommendation to change umbrellas at the pool area and restaurant to more flexible. During day time when it's needed they are quite useless.

We had a beatiful stay in the end of September. The room was exceptional, equipped with all that you need to make your stay unforgetable. Breakfast was delicious and if you wish it can be served in the room, but we preferred to have it at the restaurant because the view from it was amazing. Ladies (Apostolia and Mary) from reception were so helpful and did all of their best to make our stay perfect.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We loved the customer service, they were extremely attentive with us, they did everything as possible to make us feel the best we can and to have an amazing experience in Santorini and the Hotel in general. The suite that we had was one of the caves suites that has a pool outside and inside, but this suite has the best pool outside view that you would ever have in the whole Island, amazing place for pictures and specially the sunset. Now, the restaurant have delicious dishes and drinks, one of the best restaurants of the Island 100%. Now, we had a flight at night and our check out was early, but as they really wanted to make us feel great they gave us another suite until we leave the Island (also there was availability so we were lucky on this one). One last thing, we forgot our passports at the safe of the room, we called them and they came with our passports and personal belongings that we left at the safe right away to the Airport, as we said they were extremely helpful and great with us. It was a dreamt experience and we thanks all the staff of the Hotel. We will come back again soon!

What a property!!!!! BRAVO to Kivotos!!! Let me start by saying that this is truly a world class 5-star level of personal service and attention. As an international traveler, i am well familiar with "5 Star" ratings. This place is all that and more. This location and views are no less than spectacular, and the personal attention and service borders on butler level service. I will certainly go out of my way to come back. Special recognition to Marco, who made our experience truly exceptional and memorable as we celebrated our 30th Anniv. .

In my opinion, the hot tub on the terrace needs to be refurbished, when you sit inside you can feel the small crumbs of cement what is not nice.

The location and the view were marvelous! The staff was always very helpful! The terrace in our Signature room was very spacious and overlooked the stunning caldera view.

The only minor point for improvement would be the prices of their transport. They charge EUR 100 for a pickup/dropoff at the airport, which even by Santorini standards is too steep.

Simply excellent hotel. Staff was so kind, nothing was too much to ask. Great breakfast delivered to the room with many options to choose from. The hotel is 3 years old so everything is quite new and everything simply works. Rooms are very comfy and spacious. We can't wait to try their Mykonos sister hotel next year!!

the first room we were assigned to was difficult to stay in, to say the least. it had a nice concept of a cave swimming pool that visitors can step into from inside the room, but that was it. the floors were uneven, slippery, and had many ledges where we often tripped and hurt our ankles/legs/feet. there was almost no daylight in the room from two very small windows, no desk/work station area, and the bathroom, which was at the back of the “cave,” was dark, dank, and smelled like mildew. in addition to this, the room’s cave pool was making a bubbling and gurgling sound all night, which was amplified into the room, and the noise made it hard to sleep. finally, the main pool area in the hotel was beautiful, but pretty small compared to neighboring hotels. it also shares the space with the restaurant which created a bit of a chaotic environment.

amazing location overlooking the sea, maybe one of the best sunsets we saw on the entire island. breakfast served daily at the room or poolside. attentive and highly accommodating staff. the second room we stayed in was very spacious — 2 floors with a private balcony and 2 bathrooms.
