Walking across the main road can be an experience….. 😉 but wasn’t a problem once we found the crossing button right next to the bus stop 😃

Apartment excellent, Kleanthi and Nikos are very friendly and helpful and the apartment was cleaned most days which was a bonus. We will definitely be back in the future, efcharisto poly!

Wonderful stay! Everything was great. The apartments are new, clean, comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen has everything you may need to cook, the shower has an excellent water pressure and the bedroom comes with all the little details that make the difference (additional low-intensity lights to read before to sleep, a big closet with additional blankets and, if you need it, the “makeup angle” with a mirror, a phon and a little couch to preparare yourself before to go out without the need to do it in the bathroom). On top of it all, you will have a balcony with chairs to relax and the pool in the garden. The location is really good both for singles/couples and for families: very quiet and at the same time near the peaceful beaches, which are just 5 minutes far if you have a car and 10 if you prefer to walk. Restaurants are nearby, as well as a couple of supermarkets, but you can also have breakfast/lunch/dinner by the pool and enjoy the view of the natural landscape. Last but not least, and I’d say the strongest point, is the fact that you’ll be welcomed by a good-hearted and friendly family that will help you with everything you may need. Thank you!!! We definitely, definitely recommend this place.

Crossing busy road Small pool

Kleanthi Apts is a small family run apartment block. kleanthi and her son went above and beyond consistently to facilitate me and my children during our stay. We felt really at home here and was waited on constantly. The swimming pool is small but does the job. The rooms are large and immaculate. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the beach and various resturaunts. I would very much recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning.

Lovely place run by a nice family. Room was clean and comfy with everything we needed. They let us stay past check out for our delayed flight which was above and beyond! Great food and drinks served by the pool. The pool itself was lovely.

My wife and I found this apartment at very short notice about midnight when our return flight to Gatwick was cancelled. Nikos, our host, and his family could not have been more accommodating or friendly. We stayed for 2 nights eventually and took advantage of the facilities; pool, poolside bar and extensive menu. Nikos helped us to book a taxi for the 100 mile trip to an alternative airport to continue our journey home and even called us later in the day to ensure that we had arrived safely. It appeared that the apartments are enjoyed by many repeat customers and if we find ourselves in Crete again we would consider a stay.

Tbh, we didn't go to these apartments with the intention of self-catering, so we were only there for breakfast. Food is available there and we had two meals cooked by Kleanthi, which were tasty and extremely good value for money. The apartments are equipped with very basic kitchen utensils and appliances, and maybe a small microwave would be useful?

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, slightly away from the main town of Gouves (approx 20 min walk), then this could be the place for you! The location was set in a quiet rural setting and was approx 15 min walk to the beach. The owners Kleanthi and Nikos were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our front facing apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. The apartments have been recently redecorated and aircon is available upon request. Nikos cooked a fabulous BBQ for us one evening, when we met up with everyone who was staying at the apartments with us, which was a lovely evening, Most of the guests at the apartments were on repeat visits, which says it all!

The bathroom was rather small.

The apartment was very reasonably priced and was OK for a shorter stay. The balcony was on two sides of the house and was nice. The area is quiet.

The location is not good for families with children, there is a busy main road to cross, you can't do that just straight when you leave the building, because there are way barriers. Instead, you must walk to the left or right (watch out for buses, cars and scooters!) to reach a crossing point with no stoplight and cross the busy Iraklion - Malia main road. A nightmare, if you have children.

Nikos, his wife and his mother are very friendly and helpful, you can always ask them.

Home away from home feel, the property has everything you need. The staff are incredible, so kind and caring. It is clear that they take great pride in their business, and this shines through in the way that they care and interacted with us. The property was clean and tidy, beds very comfortable and lovely spacious rooms.
