Maybe having a microwave in the apartment would be good but we managed to deal without it.

This is one of the best places we stayed in Crete yet. You definitely have to use a car to rich this place but being far from large settlements is a big advantage. This place have a wonderful view on a sea bay, there are some hiking trails around. Shower, kitchen, beds and everything else was completely ok. The owner was very friendly.

Very clean, large and comfortable room. Very quiet place with spectacular view. The only thing that didn't work was the wi-fi.

(-) Absense of some basic ammedities: like spare garbage bags (considering room service cleans room every 3 days), extra towels & pillows (-) Payment: Since the host manages all payments, be prepared to pay in cash if requested. We spent lot of precious vacation time trying to find an ATM that has low fee, as we do not like to carry cash around. The Bank of Chania was the best, fixed 2.5€ fee for all transactions. But it is an additinal expense to account for.

(+) View: Breathtaking panoramic view of the blue sea, from every window. Note that there is a cable line in front of the balcony, visible from all the lower floor apartments. But it is not obstructing the view. (+) Comfort: The bed was comfortable, good for having long rests. (+) Flexibility: The host is really flexible with check in/out times. We were given instructions for self-check in and out, giving us opportunity to pace our trip without having to care about time. The road around Kleio studios is cliffside with some exposed sections, so responsible careful driving is required. After getting used to it, you realise how close it is by car to get around: highway road (5 mins), Chania (30 mins), Kissamos (15 mins), beach (3 mins)

It is a little bit overpriced

The view and the beach near. I would recommend it for families as it has enough space and two rooms. To go to the taverns or beach you still need a car

We were 5 and there was not enough glasses for us. Also, there is not enough cutlery.

The view is just stunning. The balcony is spacious. Also, there is some coffee maker, toaster to prepare some food. Shower is big and you can find loundry mashine there. There are 2 beaches nearby and if you have a car its easy to reach them. Also, if you wanna visit Chania, Balos, Elafonissi it is a good location!

Great location with amazing view of Kissamos golf. Very good position to reach the best beaches of Crete north-west Lefteris was extremely useful in giving suggestions I strongly advice this studio.

The Wifi was the only thing which was working very poorly. However, you are there to enjoy the sunset, the food and the beach therefore it wasn't such a big deal.

The location, the view and the cleanliness was oustanding. Really worth the money!

On our last night, we returned back to the apartment at around 4 in the morning, and we were walking to our door inside the building only to hear the owner's voice in the darkness which gave me such a fright. I did not expect him to be waiting for us. Probably he's been bitten by people who leave without paying the balance so I do not blame him, but I wish there was prior clarification on this to avoid the 4 o'clock appearance in the dark. We had planned on leaving the balance inside the studio before we leave anyway.

The studio apartment was perfect for our stay. The view from the terrace is spectacular and we fell in love with the area. The apartment had everything we needed. It was peaceful, clean and well-equipped. The owner found no problem checking us in much later than we had already agreed.

The connection with Wi-Fi is weak, but this is not place to spend the time on computer or mobile phone. This is place to rest from all everyday activities/duties and enjoy the view :)

The place is really wonderful. The apartments are localised far from the "main tourist trail", the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The view from the balcony is truly gorgeous! The perfect place to stay for anyone who like calm, nature and wants to "clear the mind". I can recommend this place with a clear conscience.

There was nothing we didn’t like, but the following comments may be useful to some: You need a car, because the location is somewhat isolated. There are no shops in the village, so you have to drive to Kissamos for groceries, etc. Surprisingly, there is no A/C. In late April this wasn’t a problem, but in the summer (or winter) it must be very uncomfortable. There are no insect screens on the balcony doors or windows. We stayed for six nights and the apartment was not cleaned nor the bins emptied. The bins are both small, so we had to do this ourselves. Likewise, as noted, there are cleaning materials in the apartment if you need them. There were no extra pillows, but there are plenty of additional towels, bath mats and toilet paper. There were no hooks for clothes in the apartment, the kitchen had no bread knife or peeler, and there was no shelf in bathroom. Payment is only by cash. Several other reviews comment on noise from other rooms, and the poor wifi signal, but since we were the only guests we obviously had no such issues.

The studios are easy to find (follow the sign in the village to the “Wave on the Rocks” restaurant, and you’ll pass the studios on the way). The owner is friendly and helpful, and his communication and information pre-visit was excellent. The studios are in a wonderful location with spectacular views across the Bay of Kissamos. We were the only guests during our six-night stay in late April, so we were given what I suppose is the best studio (top floor and on the corner, so the balcony wrapped around from West to South as well.) The apartment is nicely appointed and tastefully decorated, and there are framed prints of artworks on the walls. There is a queen-size double bed, two bedside tables, a single bed, a two-seater sofa, a dining table and four chairs, a dressing table/desk, two chairs and a stool, a spacious built-in wardrobe, and a small TV. The kitchen area has a full-size stove and fridge, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a sandwich toaster, and plenty of pots and pans, etc. The bathroom is a good size with a large shower (with curtain), plenty of hot water (solar) at good pressure; it also had a washing machine, a broom, dustpan, mop and bucket, plus cleaning supplies. There were various shampoos, toothpaste, etc. left by previous residents, so it’s hard to tell what, if anything is actually provided by the studios; a small bar of soap, perhaps. The spacious balcony has a large glass-topped metal table and two director’s chairs, plus a small plastic table and two plastic chairs. The wifi worked well. There are two restaurants down by the coast, a short drive or walk away.

Shops were not that close but if you have car car it is not a problem.

The apartament was absolutely lovely. It was big with a hudge balcony. We had a beautiful view. The owner was waiting for us to give us the keys. He was friendly and told us how to get to the taverns and which beach is the best. There was everything necessary in the kitchen to make your own dinner. The village was calm. It was the best apartament we stayed in in Greece.
