Very warm welcome. The hotel is in a traditional mountain style with beautiful wood floors and ceilings. We had a large balcony with a stunning view over the town and down into the valley. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of homemade produce including the creamiest yogurt I’ve ever tasted. We were given a huge spread of food and enjoyed trying everything. Staff were warm and very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Konitsa Mountain Hotel a lot! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and delicious with handmade pitas, traditional food and local delicacies. Accommodation was very clean too.

Wonderful family run hotel on top of the mountain so great view from the room is guaranteed. It is very clean and maintained and the staff is extremely friendly . The breakfast with view over the valley Is great. And after a trip or hike in the mountains you can enjoy a drink next to the fireplace. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every moment .

Nothing in particular, but if I have to write something, I would mention that the breakfast could have a bit more options. Apart from that, there was nothing that we didn't like.

Very friendly personnel, great facilities, really comfortable rooms, amazing view, nice lobby to have not only breakfast but also a drink at night. I would highly recommend this hotel if one wants to visit the region. Zagorochoria are quite close.

There is only one window in the bedroom, right opposite the bed, and it has no blind or shutters. Please put something on this window to keep the sun put at dawn!

This is one of the most comfortable rooms I've ever stayed in! Those white sofas are so soft. And the spa bath was fantastic after a long days hiking. The balcony is compact, but the view over the valley is amazing. Breakfast was good, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Good value and I would stay again. Top tip - stick to the main road if you're driving here. Don't let the sat-nav take you the more direct route through town. It's steep, narrow, cobbled streets. Main road much easier on your car!

There is nothing I did not like. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. How glad I am that I chanced the bus ride from Ioannina.

I passed a wonderfully peaceful and uninterrupted night at the Mountain Hotel in Konitsa. Suitably energised, I then enjoyed a very successful hike into the mountains the following day. During my stay, there were two receptionists - Aphrodite and Chrysanthe - who were extremely professional, welcoming and spoke absolutely fluent English. My thanks, particularly, to Chrysanthe for advising me so expertly on local hiking routes. I have no doubt that the memorable experience I had the following day would not have been possible otherwise. Konitsa itself is a perfect gem of a town: vibrant, diverse, and with an excellent selection of restaurants offering the best of northern-Greek cuisine, including superb beans.

There are not many good options for eating out in Konitsa. There is one taverna that serves good grilled meats, but if you are staying longer than a day or two, you might wish for an alternative. This is not to criticise the hotel - but I think they .might be .missing a trick by not serving evening meals

The driving in the city of konitsa is a little bit dificult of you are using google maps. Drive only on the main aspalt road and not in the small streets as google proose

We only have one criticism. The hotel says it was "dog friendly" We brought our two dogs who travel with us all over Europe. They have their own beds, and do NOT sleep on the beds and furniture. Further we NEVER leave them in the room alone taking them everywhere. They are also very quiet. When we arrived, a mature woman met us and without so much as a greeting, immediately started questioning my wife about the dogs. "Oh you have dogs" she said. My wife answered "yes and we wrote to tell you that we would have them and that your hotel is advertised as 'pet friendly'." She then began told us where we could park with our dogs because she has a number of hunting dogs that are locked in cages at the far side of the parking lot (something that to us dog lovers is absolutely cruel.) That was first. Then came the multiple questions about the dogs and if they made noise and if they would be staying in the room etc etc. The following morning we brought our dogs to breakfast. We did not want to leave them in the room per the woman's request. We were made to feel uncomfortable having them there as well even though there was no one else at breakfast. We were NOT made to feel welcome. Sadly, we will not be returning to this lovely hotel because of the attitude of this one woman. I say sadly because we only live 3 hours away and plan to return multiple times to the area to further explore the mountains. Dissapointing.

The Hotel is charming and has a magnificent view. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Our room had a balcony which over looked the village and the valley. The breakfast was VERY good. Something for everyone. Really first class.

Generally nothing to complain, except for the jacuzzi in the shower room. We preferred a regular shower room, but since we got an upgrade in our room, we also got a jacuzzi for no extra cost. But we didn't had the time to enjoy it.

The location of the hotel is excellent, overlooking the mountains, the valleys. And very quiet. The rooms we got have excellent views from the balcony. All the staff, specifically Christos, were all very helpful, cheerful and accommodating! He assisted us in all our requests. Food was great! Excellent customer service! Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with great atmosphere in the mountains of Konitsa. All staff are extreme friendly and service minded. Large rustic rooms with fantastic view. Very nice breakfast. Plenty free parking places. Wounderfull nature and hiking right outside your door. 5 minutes drive uphill from the city center with shops, cafes, restaurants.

The bath -jacuzzi in our room. Would have preferred ordinary shower. Jacuzzi would have seemed very wasteful of water in these days.poor lighting in room as only wall lights
