How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The queen bed in our room was quite narrow (I assume 140cm, maximum 160), in room you could hear quite alot of noise from other rooms and from corridor
The staff was very kind and would do everything to please guest, hotel has option to park a car in a nearby garage, some meals of breakfest were very tasty - really exceptional

The way breakfast is managed is problematic. Quality and quantity are of a high standard, but should be treated differently. The hotel is excellent and the breakfast management is the only weak point.

The breakfast was a la carte and you could choose from different local dishes. Freshly made orange juice and local mountain tea were very good additions. Even though we were a bit late in the morning the staff made no problem and served a late breakfast to us. We really enjoyed everything.

Our stay was simply amazing. The hotel is brand-new. The room decoration was modern. The bed had a comfortable size and a high-end mattress. The breakfast was delicious. A parking slot was available daily for our car something very important when you visit Ioannina, a city with no parking slots at all. The hotel was centrally located at a silent and nice neighborhood. The hotel employees including but not limited to the manager, receptionists and the cook were polite and helpful, trying to accommodate all our needs. We could not ask anything more from our stay and we will definitely come back soon! Thank you again for making our trip to your city unique!

Only the 1st night wasn't parking space available, but all the rest of our days, we had our own parking space
Comfortable bed, amazing and rich breakfast, very kind staff and housekeeping never disturbed us but daily cleaning of the room

Air conditioning/ heating system in the room. Ecologically sensitive system, but not effective during the spring, as still provides heat and not cool air in the room. A visit in the middle of summer or winter should be ok, but in spring, if hot you need to rely on opening windows.
Great location in the centre of Ioannina. Very helpful personnel, responsive instantly to all our queries and requests

Great hotel, great staff, they have helped me a lot with good recommendations, taxis, breakfast at the room, people here are really nice. The location was good, 3 minutes walk and you are in a very center with a lot of restaurants and shops. Breakfast is also good, fruits, nuts, fresh juice, eggs, croissants, sweets. Rooms are fresh, clean, modern design. I enjoyed my stay here. Thanks!

The breakfast was awesome and the staff very friendly. They have also taken the measures to help the hotel guests stay away from Covid-19. I also forgot something in the room and they sent it to me free of charge. Nikoleta and Efigenia are just awesome.

The view was not god! From windows one can watch only other buildings in a narrow street!
