Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandAbsolutely love Lango and accept the slightly higher prices for food given that the quality is high and there is significant variety, however think the price of 'basic' drinks (beer, for example) are overpriced
Stylish, modern hotel with exceptional staff! All of the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and care about every fine detail! From reception staff who can organise anything for your holiday (even on other islands - thanks Mariam!), to those working at the pool, in the restaurant and around the hotel - they all made the experience enjoyable! The kitchen and dishes that they create are also excellent, with a massive variety of options across the breakfast, lunch, pool bar and dinner menus!

United KingdomUnfortunately, I am only able to give 10 points here - because this hotel deserves far more. Both my partner and I are no strangers to travelling and staying in lovely places around the world but this hotel really tops the list. After a rather adventurous and long journey (flight cancellations etc) we finally arrived at the hotel and the second we set foot onto the steps leading up to the lobby, everything was just so easy. We were greeted by wonderful staff, from the lovely gentleman who immediately looked after our luggage to the check-in staff who were already expecting us and very kindly upgraded us to a suite. While we were winding down with a welcome drink overlooking the sea, staff made sure our room was ready, with our luggage waiting for us, and sorted out the check-in difficulties that were caused by our own stupidity. And this would be the leading topic of the holiday - the staff’s response to any issue or question (Can we rent a car? Can we rent a bike? Can we take a Covid test in the hotel?) that we had was always: of course, no problem, happy to sort this for you. Did I mention that also everyone speaks impeccable English? The service and the staff really make the difference here - don’t get me wrong, the hotel itself is also absolutely gorgeous with their large pool, amazing sun beds both by the pool and the beach, spa, gym, sun exposure throughout the day and vicinity to Kos town but it’s down to the staff who make this place outstanding. Just to name a few things, there’s always new pool towels waiting in your room, new water bottles, there are buttons on the sun beds by the beach with which you can order from the pool bar, the spa staff come around and offer thermal water and sun screen, and the breakfast staff knew on our second or third day what coffee we would like in the morning. Speaking of food, the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s served in buffet form (all Covid secure with single use gloves to be used - clever!

GermanyTo be honest I cannot complain about anything and I am thankful being able to stay here.
Even before we arrived we felt like we were on vacation, because the emails from the hotel gave us such a good feeling. When we arrived we relaxed within minutes and felt like we new the persons already such a long time. The hotel looks like heaven on earth and because it is rather a small hotel the service could take care of every single guest with lots of kindness. We enjoyed the time as a couple and had an unforgettable time here. The food also was delicious and decorated really pretty. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset every night at the lounge of the hotel or even at the private beach beds.

GermanyWe honestly loved everything; but perhaps if you are looking for a holiday with a golden Sandy beach, or high end local facilities on your doorstep, this isn’t the one. However that was never the case with us! Once we walked through the door we didn’t want to leave…. Ever!
Where to start! Firstly, the staff were incredible - every single one of them! Genuine, happy, thoughtful and just really really good at their jobs. Shout out to Christina who made our trip memorable from the minute we booked. A true 5* experience from the staff. The hotel itself is brand new - only a few years old. It is spotlessly clean, the pool area is magical, such great vibe around the whole place - and the Koan restaurant is truly amazing. Dinner with a perfect sunset view and also views over the stunning pool area. Immaculately presented and incredibly tasty food! The room (502) was great - very fancy with a private pool and garden area that was super private and immaculately presented. Loved the adult only vibe - super quiet and relaxing. Private beach area was a cool addition to mix it up if you wanted da change from the main pool / the private pool; though we didn’t feel the need more than once! Couldn’t recommend it more for a high end breakaway where you can feel special, eat amazing food and enjoy the gorgeous weather

SwitzerlandThe value for money of the restaurant did not seem good to us. We had dinner at the resultant once. The presentation of the dishes and service was in line with a high end restaurant, however, the food was lacking a bit of taste. A bit disappointing.
Relatively small modern hotel, clean rooms, very friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast. Great swimming pool (although we did not use it too much). At our arrival we got upgraded to a bigger room!

GermanyThere is a street between beach and hotel. The street isn't super busy but something to be aware of when booking. Thus, sea view rooms are facing the street.
super attentive staff, very nice pool area, very clean, nice spa facilities, breakfast was good - Would be great to have even more Greek food on the menu :), amazing sunsets from sea view rooms!

TurkeyI have reserved a deluxe room with a garden view. When I checked in, they told me that they upgrade my room to sea view. I felt lucky for instance but the room was looking directly to the car park, a field with a nearly collapsed building and partly to the sea. The staff told me that hotel was full so they could't move me. It was dissapointing. The other major issue with the hotel is the beach. Yes, the hotel has a beach as you can see from the pictures but you have to cross a road to reach the beach if you still want to enjoy the beach with the sound of passing by cars. The minibar of the room is empty and you have to tell the reception to make them fill it out. The room service and the bar is not open late. So the only thing that you can have is water after certain time.
The hotel was very clean and decorated upscale. Pool area was very nice. Breakfast and snacks were very delicious. Staff were very helpfull, mainly with transportation issues.

United KingdomRestaurant dinner menu seemed to cater for chef's ego rather than customer preference - hence we ate out every night when we would have preferred to eat at the hotel; Not everyone wants 'fine dining' all the time but no alternatives offered for evening meal. Pillows very uncomfortable - too hard; Shower room for use pre-departure was tiny - unable to change comfortably - had to use the toilet; Pool freezing cold; Paid extra for a sea-view room but that was across the main road from the hotel - the road was so busy and noisy we were unable to enjoy sitting on the balcony. The beach was virtually non-existent - a narrow strip of grit and building sand; Pointless TV on in the bar - no volume and poor program choice.
Excellent staff; great pool bar service; comfortable and spacious sun beds; daytime menu was very good; Great gym facilities; Appreciated the fruit platter and wine delivered to the room for our anniversary; The hotel was spotlessly clean.

United KingdomThe hotel is 2.5 km from the centre of Kos town. Not normally a problem but we were advised on arrival that taxis were almost impossible to get. This turned out to be true. Also that the bus service was extremely unreliable again true. So you can find yourself doing an awful lot of walking. Surely a 5* hotel can easily solve this by putting on a shuttle service for guests?
hotel is great, breakfast outstanding, facilities first class, pool area relaxing and very usable and staff excellent.

United KingdomReception staff, and manager in particular, are truly awful. Worst customer service I've experienced for a long time. Had to get Booking.com customer service involved, hotel first lied to them about a resolution and then refused to answer the phone to them after that. And to round a horrible night's stay off, glass of OJ was handed over with a dead fly in it at breakfast. We cancelled the rest of the stay and moved next door to Aqua Blu, which is wonderful.
It's a nice, comfortable, hotel, and looks great. But is ruined by terrible staff.

GermanyTaxi situation from the hotel into town can be very tricky at times, one evening we had to wait 2h to get one which made us lose our dinner reservation. Quality of food options for lunch were quite basic.
Super chic and modern design, amazing pool area (very big pool, comfortable day beds and good service from the pool staff). Very helpful and friendly reception staff in the morning, staff working in the afternoon was incapable and unfriendly.
