Lovely hotel, friendly staff who seemed very willing to help, very helpful with my early bag drop. Short walk (600m?) to bus/train/township and also about the same to a beach. Fridge in room. Would highly recomment a relaxing night away doing the train (hiking down was great!) and staying here.

Hotel is quite basic but that was reflected in the low price. Clean and tidy and everything worked, so was fine for a 1 night stay before taking the tourist train. Has off road parking and is a short walk down a side street from the town centre.

Clean hotel 5 minute walk from the train station. We had a balcony which allowed us to do some washing that dried very quickly. Ideal spot to stay whilst going on the Diakopto to Kalavryra train.

For me it was no deal breaker, because I knew what comes but be aware, it is outdated and the mattress are really wearn down.

Perfect hotel if you want to hike or even start the E4. The room was very very very clean and the staff where super friendly. The interior was quite outdated but if you use the hotel for your hikes, it will serve your needs for a OK to good value. For normal stay, please check the pictures and ask yourself if you are OK with it or not. For the E4 out there, it is very close to your starting point and the supermarket near the train station also has butan gas canister.

But I found the bed really uncomfortable it was way- too hard and there was no mattress cover over what looked like a very old mattress.

Excellent location on a fairly quiet street, with an easy walk to the sea and to the shops and the train station. I definitely recommend staying here. But see my comment below.

Unfortunately the shower cubicle is very small and there's the usual bizarre Greek request to put used toilet paper in a bin rather than down the toilet

Nice clean room with view of the pretty street and glimpse of the sea. Pleasant balcony where you can hang washing, fridge and TV. Comfortable double bed. En suite bathroom with loads of hot water and excellent pressure.

For the small cost involved, maybe some shower gel in the bathroom. We took our own so it was not an issue, but if you arrived late or unprepared you only have a small tablet of soap to freshen up.

There was no hair dryer but I had my own.

The room was unpretentious. It had basic amenities including en suite bathroom, tv and a refrigerator. It had a nice large balcony. The bedlinen was spotless white cotton, nicely ironed. The price was very reasonable for the l9cation.

The staircase to the room was quite steep, so awkward with heavy luggage.

The management were extremely kind. They gave us directions to the nearby railway station, and allowed us to keep our room for the night that we were away exploring Kalavryta. Our room was large and had a balcony overlooking the garden.

Simple, clean and comfortable accommodation. Great location for the beach and rack railway. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were able to leave the car in the car park whilst we went on the train for the day.
