From the warm arrival, to the amazing facilities, home from home accommodation and hearty/varied breakfast, there was nothing to dislike about Lenikos Resort . Note: you will need will a car as the hotel is situated high up in the hills (with stunning views). I would not recommend walking into town of an evening along the long winding road as there is no pathway and visibility is poor.

Not specific to the hotel but hire a car if you want to get about although there is a local taxi firm if you are just needing transport from the airport and into the town.

The resort was very quiet and relaxing. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was incredible with a selection of local foods. The pool area was clean and quiet. Rooms were spacious and bright. Loved every minute of the stay.

Only stayed for a night but one of the best places during our trip. The resort is located in beautiful mountains just a 8 Minute drive from Agia Galini. Rooms were, beautiful, clean and decorated tastefully like the entire resort area. A very calming and relaxing place. The best part were the super friendly owners and incredible (!) Breakfast. Served at a table with self made cake, jams, salad from the resort garden and sweet and savory treats. We will visit again.

Great personal service, great house, delicious breakfast with a different local offering every day and thorough cleaning. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet holiday with a fantastic sea view. The host is very friendly too.

You need a car to get to town. A short drive but narrow road uphill. But that’s the price to pay for the peace and quiet so it’s worth it. There’s no restaurant or bar there, or shops nearby so you need to plan meals snacks in advance. It’d be helpful to have an access ramp for luggage and wheelchairs as there are quite a few steps into the property.

It seems very new and very well maintained, rooms, terrace, super clean pools, gardens etc. The view surrounded by hills and down on to the bay is great and the sky at night amazing. It doesn’t feel like a resort, it’s very quiet. Family run by discreet but lovely hosts. Breakfast is a tasting menu of Greek and more standard dishes (tapas size) that changes everyday. It is served at the table. And Nely, the pet, of course ;)

Breakfast was exception and delicious with several local dishes. The staff were friendly and courteous. The pools were pristine and the view of Agia Galani, the Gulf of Messara was stunning. Lots of beaches nearby.

There was nothing we did not like. We had an amazing time!

Amazing customer service, staff and owners were really keen to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Very clean- pools were cleaned daily or sometimes even more often. Spacious apartment. Quiet location, conveniently located 5 minute drive away from main town and beach. Great mix of luxury and authentic family owned hotel vibe. We are planning on going back as soon as possible!

We had a room at the lower level which was extremely spacious! From the terrace we had an amazing view over the hills and Agia Galini. In the morning we were able to enjoy breakfast while enjoying the sun. The cleaning lady was superb. Bed were made, the floor was mobbed and the room was just breathing cleanliness.

The staff were very nice. The breakfast was rich and there were new choices at the table every day. We ordered dinner one night. It was a delicious home made menu. The rooms are built in a way that you have your privacy. They clean the rooms everyday. You have a very nice view of the sea and agai galini.

We had a great stay here! Peaceful, clean and with a beautiful view! The owner and the staff are very friendly. You need to have a car in order to get to the beach of Agia Galini (it is around 2-3km, but steep and curvy road). For us, it was a super location to explore nearby places and beaches (Plakias, Preveli, Treopetra, Matala, etc)

Beautiful views over the coast. Spacious villa with terrace and plenty of living space. Lovely pool. Very good price. Convenient for beaches (we enjoyed Matala) and Minoan sites.
