Super clean rooms and the staff was very polite! Although our check in was very late they welcomed us with a smile and never complained.

the property is located in a beautiful calm and strategic position for those who want to explore the beaches of balos and elefanossi. It is surrounded by nature and is in front of the sea with direct access to an equipped beach with a bar and restaurant next to it. The room was equipped with all comforts and was very clean. Mrs Maria welcomed me in a wonderful way, even though I was late at check in due to an unexpected event and she gave me fresh fruit. throughout the stay she was available and the spaces were really clean and tidy.

Everything was up to standard!

Great accommodation for its price, even better STAFF! It's been a month since we left Crete and I finally have the time to share my review. What can I say about Maria, she went above and beyond during our stay to make sure everything was clean, comfortable and that we were having a good time. By the time Maria is finished with your room you won't be able to see even a grain of sand and if you want fresh eggs and milk, she's your person! She made our holidays unforgettable, with her smile and good manners. It's the simple things that make hospitality special. She even gifted us a chocolate cake to congratulate us on our engagement. THANK YOU Maria, we will be back! About the room, also no complaints. Literally next to the sea, with all basic amenities you could ask for and well-connected to all sights of interest in the region if you have a car. Great hospitality and great holidays!

There wasn't anything we didn't like as this was exactly what we wanted. Some guests may find the location a little out of the way and too quiet but this is exactly what we required.

Lovely setting, attractive building set back from the road, large clean room with nice views overlooking the gardens and ocean at the front, plenty of parking and a very kind and efficient host. The area retains the feel of the real Crete.

The location is the perfect getaway. It is quiet and with exceptional views. Perfect for morning walks along the beach. The host is very friendly and also gave us information about the whereabouts. A delicious welcome cake was offered to us. An unforgettable experience!

Nothing, if you look only for a room, it was perfect. Just be aware that if you need to stay longer than a few nights, there is no way to cook, there is only a fridge. But it's clearly mentioned on the website, so it was not a surprise, no problem at all.

The room was perfect, the situation in front of the beach very pleasant, the place was as we were expecting, not crowded, wild, and a nice restaurant in the area. The hosts are very friendly! 😊

Lack of microwave. Aircon intermittent in back bedroom but Maria sorted it out.

We loved the remoteness of the location, the close proximity of the beach and authentic Greek tavernas nearby serving locally sourced food, especially the village sausages and fish dishes. As mentioned by other reviewers, Maria was so helpful and kind and the couple running the taverna also. We were able to take taxis to Kissamos for some delicious on the beach evening meals and late afternoon swims to watch the sunset over the mountains. Truly magical. We will come again!

Spectacularly peaceful isolated location. Lovely room with sea view. Very clean. Good wifi Very safe for woman travelling alone. You have a little kitchen in the room with fridge, hob, pans and plates. Maria the host is fantastic, helpful, friendly. She goes above and beyond to help you with anything. The sea is just in front of the building. There is also a nice taverna in the campsite next door which is great, and also a little shop. The beach is really quiet and peaceful. It's not a resort, you need a car to get there, you need to bring in some food from the supermarket in town. It's a fantastic location for swimming, rest, yoga, meditation, relaxation, restoring. I loved it here. Thank you Maria!

We were greeted warm and even with a self made cake. Owner was super helpful and cute. The location is a dream, super close to the ocean. As there are nearly no hotels close you basically have a private beach. It’s such a beautiful and cozy location. Would always return!!

Room walls are thin, so at night you may hear your neighbours if they talk/depart. There're not many points of interest nearby (maybe a winery and Kissamos within an hour of walk each), but this may be considered an advantage if you're looking for a peaceful stay.

This is an excellent place to retreat from a noisy crowded city and enjoy beautiful Greek nature. The beach is right across the mostly deserted road and has free chairs. Speaking of the beach, it's a mix of small stones and sand, with sandy entrance being marked. In October the water was chilly, but still swimmable. At night it's super quiet on the street, so you may sleep with your windows/balcony open and enjoy the sound of the sea. The place is basic in terms of furnishing, but everything needed is here, and it is super clean. Maria, the host, is doing a great daily job keeping everything clean and covid-safe. There's a country-style family-owned restaurant at the property with tasty food and big portions. Very handy for dinner and peaceful sleep afterwards . Expect some cats join you during the process :) As this place is a bit remote, I'd recommend have a rented car during your stay (which you will most likely do anyway). There's a big parking space inside. It's a good base to explore the western part of the island.

The facilities in the kitchen were not enough to prepare something more than coffee and boiled eggs.

Location was excellent, just on the beach. You can hear the sea from your room. Maria a great host! Taverna with simple and very tasty food was very helpful .

Very beautiful and quiet location. A view steps away from a lovely beach. There were even two very good restaurants in the neighborhood. A very friendly lady who cared for everything around the apartment. Highly recommendable.

I suggest staff presence on the pool, because lot of children dived. Not enough space for all costumers on their parking
