The short walk uphill from the main strip might put off less mobile people, although taxis are cheap.

Well equiped and clean apartment, with huge terrace. Quiet area not too far from the main strip of Agios marina. The apartment was regularly cleaned , with towels & linen changed every three days.

Everything perfect. My only suggestion would be for a full length mirror in the main bedroom.

The house was wonderful. Had everything we needed. Was immaculately clean. Great that it had a shower room upstairs and a bathroom downstairs. Also added bonus of a washing machine so we were able to refresh some clothes whilst there. Air con was a blessing in the heat. Vasilis is a lovely guy. So friendly and helpful and always smiley! I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Location, few minutes walking from the beach and restaurants, perfect! It has everything you need in the house, for cooking or washing cloths. Very spacious. The view was lovely and a parking spot for each apartment is great to always know you have a spot to park if you come by car. One of the best places I've stayed at and would gladly return.

It was my long-awaited first time in Crete and I was a bit hesitant to stay in Ayia Marina as I knew it would be quite touristy. But I don't regret it at all, and mostly because of our accommodation at Like Home! I was traveling with my family (8 people) and we got two two-floor apartments. Each had two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an additional toilet downstairs, a little living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, and a big balcony with a wonderful sea view where we loved to dine if not traveling (master bedrooms also have separate balconies with sea view). The place is lovely - very cozy, comfortable and homey. It's located in a very quiet area on a hill among olive groves and overlooks the sea on one side, while from the back you can see the peaks of the incredible White Mountains (Lefka Ori). Everything you need is nearby: cafes, restaurants, car rentals and shops (there is a decently-stocked supermarket in the neighborhood as well for those who want to self-cater). There is also a bus stop where you can take a bus to Chania (it leaves every twenty minutes or so and it takes around twenty minutes to get to the Chania station in the city center - very easy!). The Ayia Marina beach is really nice as well and if you're not into sunbeds and crowds, just walk down the beach to its end towards Chania - it's very quiet over there. Last but not least, it's impossible not to say a few words about the hosts who are absolutely lovely! Genuinely kind and warm-hearted, very welcoming, very attentive yet discreet, and so very helpful with any request, question, or problem you may have. It just feels that they truly want you to feel at home and have a great time - and we certainly did! The famous Greek hospitality at its very best. Once again - ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

Some of the furniture was a bit old (the vanity in the upstairs bathroom for example).

The hosts were amazing and greeted us with complimentary treats, which were well received after a day on the road. We really loved the view & the outside terrace, it was great to just chill out in the evenings. The bedrooms were a bit small, but there was a lot of storage space for clothes and other belongings. The mattresses were very comfortable. The property was fully furnished & equipped with all the necessary appliances: washing machine, coffee machine, stove, oven, etc. We really appreciated the kind touch of the owners/managers.

Perfect. My favourite thing about the stay was the views from the balcony were beautiful especially at sunset and sunrise, such a pretty place to have a glass of wine or breakfast. The host was very accommodating and kind, and the maisonette was really clean and very well laid out with everything we needed and good air con. The location was great, a 10 min ish walk from the main area with the restaurants/ shops/ beach/ bus stop. Thank you!
