How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location is perfect, in a quiet area yet only a couple of minutes from main restaurants and shops. The view of the Acropolis from the balcony has to be seen to be believed! Room has fridge, kettle, coffee maker etc, everything you'd need. Place was spotless and bed very comfortable! Owners sent detailed directions and map and met us with the key, couldn't have been more helpful.

This hotel is truly breathtaking, I had a nice terrace with a spectacular view of the acropolis of Lindos. The host Peter, and his wife were very welcoming and kind. They gave me a lot of great advice about Lindos, nearby beaches and the island of Rhodes. Peter arranged a transfer from the airport for me, and they have beach towels for the guests. My room was spotless and housekeeping did a remarkable job. I met other guests at the hotel, who come here a year after year, and I can certainly see why.

Lindos Beauty is an amazing place to stay when visiting Lindos. It's so perfectly placed - just a few mins walk away from the main streets and incredible views from the balcony of the acropolis and sea. Superb room and great hosts!

The shower/bathroom was a little small for our liking. However was a great room for one night visit.
The views were stunning and Peter was very helpful. Great host the rooms were lovely and clean too.

Hills and steps, but it’s not the issue of the hotel but Lindos.
It’s in the heart of Lindos and it’s 5-10minutes walk from the each beaches of Lindos. It’s a clear and secure place. It has a very nice view of Acropolis.

Very well located within the old town, slightly elevated with a great view above the rooftops towards the Acropolis. Very well set up room with everything you need. Hosts were very helpful when I had trouble with the room safe.

Great accommodation in a quiet area yet a very short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. All beaches are within walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean with a super-comfortable bed. Great hosts too, went that extra mile to make sure our short stay was enjoyable.

The location was super, quiet but still central within Lindos. I upgraded to a sea-view room and it was beautiful and well worth it. The room was very comfortable, super appreciated the coffee. Thank you!

Apartment was a touch on the small side. We didn’t spend too much time in the room apart from sleeping so in the end wasn’t an issue. The hob wasn’t very powerful so was hard to boil a pan of water for pasta…but we only used the kitchen one evening so wasn’t a big problem.
Perfect location. Great views (we had sea view balcony overlooking Acropolis). Lindos was just coming alive during our visit in early April, but most shops and restaurants were open. Host gave good advice and even took our luggage to our car in his motorised cart on check out. Maid came every day which was a nice bonus to have a clean room daily.

The location of this property is superb, highly recommended. The views are sensational from the room and particularly, the balcony, of both the sea and the Acropolis. Enjoyed watching an amazing sunset. Also very close to all the fabulous beaches and the wonderful bustling town of Lindos.

Nothing really. The only thing that could have been better was the adjustment arm of the TV. Due to the roof of the bed one person couldn't really see everything on the TV from the bed.
The owners and the staff were very friendly, accommodating and had a very good communication. The location of the apartment couldn't have been better and the cleanliness was really good as well. We felt very, very comfortable in this apartment and would always choose this place over others again.
