Everything was great

The interior of the apartment is lovely, and comfy, and has everything we need. The terrace is also cozy and quiet with a nice view of the surrounding hills. We liked the location - a little outside the city center while close to some beaches. The apartment can be reached by two roads - along the sea or through the town. Both roads are nice and pleasant. The hosts were very friendly and informative, they stayed in touch with us and provided or helped us with everything we could have needed.

Apartment has no lounging or dining areas - just bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. There is a large patio with table and chairs that served as our social space.

Communication with the hosts was great. They answered all questions and met us along the way from the port to the lodging. Apartment is small and charming. Location is great. Easy walk to port, beaches and restaurants.

Everything was great. The walk can be difficult between the port in the high heat. But that’s nothing to do with the property itself.

Small but sweet with everything you need. We were greeted in person by the owners who are delightful and very accommodating . The location was fabulous for us, a walk from the bustling port of hydra in a quiet little locale but a short stroll from swimming places and restaurants and a 5-10 min walk into the old town. Perfect!

Clean, all mod cons, excellent bathroom, powerful shower very comfortable bed, great location if you want to be out of town in a quiet place with tavernas nearby, but only a 20 minute walk to Hydra town, nice outside space.

I would happily pay for breakfast supplies as it is a good walk back to port to pick up supplies and carry back.

The apartment is spacious, clean and in a quiet area away from the port in Kamini. We were met by the lovely Nina at the port when we arrived and we decided to take a sea taxi to the accommodation as the walk is quite strenuous with luggage at lunchtime! Loved the outside space and our cat friends.

one watch out is that it’s a bit further from town and due to the stone pathway from the port it’s not very easy to approach with suitcases. it’s around a 20 minute walk from the boat. The route there is very nice though.

The apartment was perfect, clean and new with all amenities and the host was very friendly and accommodating. The area is quiet and the bed super comfy! I would recommend!

The staff didn’t meet me as planned from the ferry, meaning I had to carry my suitcases for 15/20 mins down a long path in the hot sun. Noisy construction work going on outside.

Hosts originally took us to the wrong property. We had unpacked and headed out for the day and had to return and pack up, but weren't even given an apology bottle of wine.

Lovely place. comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, great location - in between main town and some of the nicer beaches - approx. 10 min walk to each.

The person that met us at the ferry left rather a bad taste in our mouth (though we soon got over it because everything else was so great). She treated us like we were "dumb tourists" which is rather a weird stance for someone working in tourism—and since she doesn't know our background. We were given the option to take a sea taxi or walk. We chose to walk because the price she quoted us for the taxi was very high—surprised the property doesn't have an agreement with a taxi company. The walk is lovely without suitcases but not pleasant with them due to rolling hills and cobblestones. The only thing that I wished we had in the house was extra bath mats because they got quite wet.

The two bedroom apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, and clean. The design/aesthetic was very enjoyable and relaxing. High quality, comfortable beds and pillows and the beds are all platform beds so they're a good level of firm. I traveled here with my father and it was lovely to have two bathrooms. The kitchen was nicely equipped and had a good espresso maker. Someone even came into the house each day to take the trash and clean up crumbs etc, which attract ants (they always came while we were out of the house—even when we left the house late—so we never saw them). The windows let in great breezes, so we didn't even need the AC all the time, and also have nice wood shutters to block out the light. The terrace is beautiful and has a nice view of the mountains and other homes. The apartment shares a gate with another apartment but the terrace is private to this apartment. I'm very glad that we stayed here outside of the port. It was much quieter, the walks along the coast to the port and to beaches the opposite direction were really lovely, and the tavernas out here are generally better. There's a small grocery less than 5 min walk, which has everything you need (though they run out of bread).

For us, the property was in a great location, because it was away from all the tourists and crowds, but still only a 15 minute walk to town and the port. It is close to the beach, a water taxi pick-up and great restaurants. The house was not fancy and had just the basics, but those basics were super important to our comfort - the beds and pillows were so incredibly comfortable, which is so rare! we slept so well! and the shower was fantastic! would absolutely go there again. thanks!
