Bathroom, the shower facility is a little adventurous and doesn't allow the curtain to close 100% which results in a wet floor all over

Overall it was a nice stay and total fine for the good price. The bathroom was tiny and the water hose for the shower was installed at the sink, so it was a bit complicated for showering, afterwards the whole bathroom was flooded. The door handle was broken.

Perfect location in the center, sea view from the balcony, good air conditioning, good price, really nice owners who help you with questions. Authentically greek accommodation.

The owner and his family are very friendly and always availables if you need something. I only can thank them !! The apartments are cleaned and in a good position to discover the south Crete coast.

When we arrived, there was a double booking. the owner arranged a stay for us in a nearby location for the same price. He was very friendly and even brought us some pastries in the morning to make up for the inconvenience.

Lacked some of the featured amenities (TV set), shower was dysfunctional and there was no way to block the natural light if you felt like sleeping a little longer in the morning.

The internet in the room was weak and very spotty. They made a mistake regarding my room placement but was fixed right away.

Everything is close - the beach, the market, the bakery. Great place. Also Matala beach is just 6km away. You can get there by foot.

Fantastic place to relax. In the center of the village , next to restaurants , supermarket below the apartments . The rooms have a fridge , dishes , a kettle . Daily cleaning and air-conditioning works perfectly. Also the wifi is perfect. The greatest asset of this place, however, is the host. The owner of the apartments and the supermarket is just a wonderful, warm and smiling man. Also the rest of the family members are very nice.

Our room was double booked apparently, They gave us another room in another building. Location was closer to the occean but very oud dated. We got a double room instead of a triple, it was small. We requested an non smoking room but there was an ashtray on the nightstand and the room smelled of smoke. Noisy building.

The room which I had booked was not available and they didn’t tell me before, so they just put me in another house at „Anna-Maria” nearby. That room was nicely located with view to the mountains and the rise of the moon :-), but was really dirty in many details and badly maintained. Cooking facilities where damaged - not even a chance to get some hot water for a tea. People where nice and apologized, but I would have expected a discount for all this failure.

Everything. Katerina and Stelios are wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The family-run hotel and supermarket have everything you need during your stay, right at the center of Kalamaki. Everything is beautiful and very clean, with daily room service. The long sandy beach (cleanest beach on Crete 2021!) is just ~2 minutes away, and two tavernas are across the street, as well as other shops and bakeries (one is even inside the supermarket). I warmly recommend this private little hotel! P.S.: A special highlight was getting to know the entire family, including the grandmother and children, who sometimes treat you to a little concert of traditional Cretan music! A wonderful family atmosphere!
