The rooms are insanely big and the whole complex of houses is really beautiful. The hosts are super accommodating and ready to help in any way they can. The breakfast is huge and the internet works like a charm. You really need to try this place :)

The breakfast buffet was great! The room was spacious and had the amenities we expected. The restaurant across the street was very good and the sleepy little village picturesque. We walked to 3 of the stone bridges and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

The room was amazing and very spacious! The owners were great and their restaurant across the street exceeded expectations every time. The chef was also extremely friendly. Nothing, everything was perfect.

I spent there four nights here with my husband, as a base for walking around Zagorochoria. It was a very good choice. The complex, made of separate buildings, is set in a quiet environment and it is nicely built using traditional stone and wood. Our accommodation was cosy, clean, tastefully furnished and additional elements like anti-mosquitoes nets (not many around at the time, anyway), a big Jacuzzi bath and an efficient heating system when the evenings got a bit chilly were very welcome. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the service too and private parking was a big bonus. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the fact that he also owns the restaurant in front of the hotel was very convenient.

Very cozy and relaxing place. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Beautiful Location. Breakfast was served from the heart and very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wish we could stay for another night. Will highly recommend this place.

We should have stayed a few more nights! The surrounding countryside is full of beauty and history! Good base.

We had a very warm welcome and were delighted with our room which was very large and included fridge and cooking facilities. There’s a lovely outdoor seating area and clothes horse and pegs in case one needs to do some washing. Breakfast is delicious buffet style. The wonderful surprise was that the same couple run the taverna just across the road so there’s no need to decide where to eat. The homemade bread is scrumptious and the moussaka is the best we’ve had anywhere. Nearly forgot to say the jacuzzi bath is the best we’ve had!

Spacious rooms and a cute indoor garden where you can chill and meet fallow travelers. The hotel is centrally located, with convenient access and the Tavern right next door makes everything nice and easy :)

Our bath was flooding every time we used it, so we had a constant puddle on the floor....

The buildings are beautiful with special touches like carved stones and painted wood ceilings. The location is close to good tavernas yet also by the peaceful pastures where cows graze and birds sing. Perfect.

The rooms are not huge but very comfortable, clean, maintained, and well designed. The complex itself provides enough room for the kids to run around. The village is very close to many scenic routes and old bridges.

The pillows could be a bit more comfy and wouldn't mind a couple of more choices on the breakfast buffet (especially espresso coffee)

Machalas is situated at a gorgeous location overlooking the traditional village of Kipoi and next to the rived bed. It is a group of stone-made villas with extreme attention to detail and traditional architecture. It is ideally located next to trails, gorges, rivers, and the network of the Zagori villages. The rooms are spatious. The breakfast doesn't have big a big variety but it makes up for the quality of the products offered, especially the locally sourced cream cheese!

This is absolutely wonderful place. Everything is super clean, comfortable and simply beautiful. The owner thought about every detail. He is the nicest person, very communicative and does everything to make your stay nice. Breakfast was delicious and we had a huge choice of food. This is a real gem.
