Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaDampness in a room, it soaks even into clothes. Poor coffee service.
Good choice for short stay, close to Faliraki centre by foot, clean, nice breakfast. Nothing special, but comfortable stay.

LithuaniaThe way to the beach or city centre is crossing 4 lines busy road. Strange idea to have a window to the bathroom in the room.

RomaniaThe orange juice could be a better one. The shower and sink even though it seemed clean, it was pretty affected by limestone.
Beds are comfy. Pool is very nice, clean and at good temperature. Breakfast is above average.

IrelandFrom start to finish, the experience at Madison Boutique was second to none! The family were always so obliging and attentive, creating a familiarity that was comforting while also being incredibly professional. The pool area was beautiful in particular. The room was spacious and featured a balcony with a pool view - the rooms have black-out curtains, which are fantastic for regulating the temperature in the rooms with the intense heat outside!

IrelandThere wasn’t a very good selection of food at the breakfast.
We stayed in a Junior Suite and the room was fabulous! The pool area was clean, quiet and we had no issues with getting sun loungers at any time in the day. We had lunch a couple of times in the pool bar and it was delicious. The location was ideal and it was only 5-10 minute walk to the strip with plenty of bars/restaurant.

United KingdomNothing!
After a disaster with our other hotel leading us to check our 3 days early with nothing else booked, we found Madison Boutique a couple hours before check in time for a great price. We arrived and all the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Rooms are lovely and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was brilliant too and the pool/lounging areas are really nice. Location is brilliant, only a short walk to restaurants, bars and supermarkets but far enough away that we weren’t woken during the night from the sound of bars or nightclubs. Wifi worked well also. At the end of our stay, staff even took a Polaroid picture of us to keep as a memory which was such a nice touch. We really loved our stay and were gutted to leave. Would recommend really highly and can’t wait to go back!

United KingdomSome days room wasn't cleaned, but this didn't bothered us too much.
This boutique hotel is nearly new and very well maintained. The owners are very helpful and look after you. Breakfast was typical , but always fresh and well prepared. Location is 10-15min away by foot from the beach with all the bars and places to eat. Would highly recommend as it's a good value for money.

Czech RepublicThere was nothing we didn’t like
We really liked that it is a family hotel, staff was really helpful and nice. We got upgraded room because it is off season with no extra charge. The place is calm and sunny from etapy morning (situated on the hill) but still it is near the center and beach (approx. 10 minutes walk). They have nice bar, where you can get some drinks and snacks, also the breakfast was really great, even we expected it less various because we were here in october. Hotel also provides car and bike rent. Really great accomodation where we loved staying!

United KingdomRoom could have done with a more in-depth clean at times such as bathroom facilities being cleaned. Otherwise nothing to fault!
Great location - just a short walk from the restaurants, beach and strip (although this does involve crossing a very busy highway which is not pedestrianised!) Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We tended to spend most of our time at the beach or visiting other areas however the times we did spend around the pool the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. Although there are not loads of sun beds we never struggled to get one and were often the only people round the pool. Breakfast was perfect - a mixture of bacon, eggs, mushrooms, breads, meats, yoghurt, cheese, fruit and pastries. We did have a few cocktails at the hotel which were all lovely and one lunch in the snack bar which was also really nice. Room was comfortable, large bed, powerful shower. I’d definitely recommend a pool facing balcony on the first floor as much more private!

Recent, small family-run hotel on an ideal location, just outside the center of Faliraki: everything is within walking distance but you're outside the noise and busy-ness. Personnel is always friendly, helpful, and multi-langual. Rooms are clean and complete, good breakfast; lunch and dinner is also possible on site. Lovely pools (kids and adults). Great value for money.

BelgiumNothing really
Madison Boutique was the perfect hotel to discover Rhodes (or for just enjoying the sun & pool). The hotel is located just outside the center of Faliraki, which is not a bad thing as you are outside the busy crowds but still close enough (10 min walking) to enjoy the good restaurants and night life. From Faliraki, it's also very easy to go to other hot spots like Rhodes City and Lindos (where the beaches are more attractive than in Faliraki). The hotel is run by a very friendly and relaxed family with the two daughters being the main contacts. They were very helpful, not only at location but also in planning activities like car rental. The hotel room was very comfy, nicely decorated, clean and big enough. The aircon needed some time to start-up but did its job. The room was on the first floor and our terrace was looking over the pool (which I would recommend as some other rooms are e.g. looking over the driveway). The pool itself is very clean and big enough. Although there are not as many chairs as rooms we never had the feeling we needed to get up early to book our seat at the pool. Beers and cocktails are available as well as a quite extensive bar menu with really good food (Greek salad, Greek pizza, gyros but also spaghetti etc.). Although the breakfast buffet was not so big, it was really fit-for-purpose and everything (bread, eggs, sweet cakes, charcuterie, etc.) tasted good including the coffee.
