How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The mattresses are hard but i suppose it is very common in Greece
The property was roomy and very clean. It has two bathrooms which was very handy. It is extremely well equipped with a range of crockery and appliances. The aircon works very well. Communication from Billy was extremely helpful and we are grateful for his help in arranging local taxis for us to the airport

It was quite hard to find at night although the video showing where to go was really useful.
Billy was super helpful and the information we received prior to arriving was amazing.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, so it is ideal for a family of 4-6. The kitchen was well stocked with wine, butter, olive oil, coffee, tea, salt/sugar - basically everything you need. It is walking distance from supermarkets and restaurants, and a 10 minutes uber ride from the airport. The balcony has a sweeping view of the airport runway but is far enough that there is very little noise from the takeoffs. So much better than a hotel stay.

Perfect apartment for the price. Have absolutely all you can need, including fully equipped kitchen, coffee mashine, etc. Close to the airport, Leroy Merlin and IKEA. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a huge living room with a kitchen can fit the whole family. Friendly owner. Recommend.

There was nothing I didnt like. It was convenient to the airport and very clean.
The host gave VERY detailed instructions on how to access the keys and where everything was. Even sent photos.

Couldn't find the place in the dark. Would recommend a better directions when arriving on driving past the street to the parking area in the back.

Great location for Airport. Easy to Uber to town centre. The host was excellent communicating and assisting as we were arriving late. Very welcoming when we got there with some drinks in the fridge and a few snacks which were very welcome after a long journey. Can’t recommend enough. When I visit Athens again, this will be top of my list!

Near airport. Hosts were very helpful- a little difficulty w directions since we arrived in the dark- but hosts came out to street to greet us, helped carry our bags in and even helped us order dinner! House was super clean!

All the information needed to access the property was sent to us the day before we arrived. The host Billy was a great communicator and very helpful. A true gentleman. Would recommend this place to others.

I can't rate this place highly enough. We needed something close to the airport for our connection the next day. Spotless and had everything we needed. The host had even baked some biscuits for us. They were also able to order a taxi to the airport for us at short notice when our taxi that we had booked did not arrive.

At first I was put off by the location but the apartment itself was great once we were settled in with the help of Maria who greeted us upon arrival.
Large apartment, very clean, modern appliances in kitchen. Billy the Host recommended a short taxi ride to a local beach and seaside restaurant where the food was excellent. In fact Maria the super nice caretaker had her husband drive us to the beach area Artemis. A quick ride to Athens airport the next day in a taxi arranged by our host. The apartment was a little hard to find as it does not front on a main street. The host recommends using Uber next time and I agree with that suggestion.

Property is accessed by an unmade road. The Uber driver at first could not find the property and was unwilling to dive on the unmade road.

Very nice, spacious place. Three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Good location close to the airport and Spata. Hosts were very helpful in getting us taxis in the morning. Clean, quiet.
