Internet connection is poor. The bath is very very small and the shower is quite difficult to be used also by a small woman, you literally do not stand in. There are so many ants in the room so you can not leave anything on the floor even the shoes. The property has potential but it needs some maintenance. The coffee is 3€ and it can’t be called “coffee”. It was just a big cup with warm water and nescafe. (maybe) They have not a coffee macchine even in the restaurant so this price is unacceptable.

Very welcoming family run structure near the center of Malia but it this area it is so quiet so you can relax. The structure has also a restaurant very nice and it is family run structure too. The parking provided was very useful. Recommended for few nights Very nice view from the balcony

- AC was included in the price, but they asked additional payment for AC. - Room was for 3 people, and the room had 2 chairs. - Lack of storage space - 3rd bed was small and uncomfortable - When we complained about those things, the manager yelled at us - Nearest grocery store is 7,8 minutes away

A lovely apartment in a traditional Greek style, where a wise woman's hand is felt in everything. The apartments are fully equipped with everything you need. The staff is fantastic, very clean. The hotel is small and quiet. The closest beach is about 10 minutes. I recommend Patamos beach.

I absolutely loved the hospitality and good vibe of the family who runs the place, they are excellent guests. The apartament itself is good for rest, relaxing (good choice of the decorating colours) and has inside and outside everything you need to feel în vacation! The location is perfect for people who want to enjoy the best beach places at day and the Town atmosphere at night. The street of Malia star apartments is close enough of everything but far enough not to hear noice from the bars and you can sit and enjoy în silence some quality time on your own terrace with flowers and special landascape, or enjoy some delicious food made from fresh ingridients by the hosts in their wonderful and detailed decorated restaurant garden. Amazing stay!! If we could give 20 out of 10, we would. There's only good sides to this place. First of all: it's amazingly cheap for its value. For 5 days, we paid 180€ for two (around 18€ per night for 1). The family that runs it are ones of the nicest people we've ever met, and the localisation of the place is close to everything (count around 5 minutes of walk to go to the beach, and 10 for the city center). The room was super clean and looked so cute! We had a room with a view of the sea, a small balcony with everything you'll need. In the kitchen there was cutlery, a coffee machine, a toaster, and all the amenities (including AC, which saved us aha). In the bathroom there were 2 sets of towels for each of us, and even a hard dryer. Finally, in the room there were two single beds with hangers in the closet, a safe and some extra pillows, just in case. The appartement was big, and even had the WiFi. We were greeted late by two of the family members, that had left something for us to drink in the room. Moreover, the decoration was super cute, and really felt like we were in Greece (thankfully). There is a tavern right by the appartement, but no noise comes from it so don't bother bringing earplugs. We ate there, and the food was amazing, as well was the price. Overall, it can't be emphasised enough but this is a gem, and I can't thank enough the family that runs it, because they're amazing people! Thank you!

Nice apartment and overwhelming people. The cleaner cleans, changes bedclothes and towels every 3 days. The restaurant is also very good, I would recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the great staff of Malia Star!

I booked a room in this place and we arrived pretty late, it was 11 p.m., the family was waiting for us and when we arrived Mama (one of the owner) welcome us with so much love and with a big smiley face. The husband, Dimitri, was so lovely and quickly made the dinner for us. Everything was good, the apartment is perfect for a couple to have a quiet and a relaxing place, clean and simple. Every morning you will be greeted with their “Kalimera” and with a big smile!!! Beautiful family always ready to help you, good dishes and the atmosphere is always the best after a long day of sightseeing. Surely recommend this place to eat, to stay there or just to meet this beautiful family!! Thank you again for everything!
