The whole accommodation was immaculately clean. It was a quiet and peaceful environment and the staff were attentive and friendly. The location was great with easy access to the bus route, a supermarket and Perissa beach. Whilst the location was perfect for what we wanted, I would recommend hiring a vehicle to travel freely around the island. However, we did manage to see a lot using the local buses.

Great location to reach - by car or motorcycle - Perissa and Perìvolos. Supermarket just round the corner, with ATM available. From our little nice balcony, we could see the sea: on the night of our arrival we enjoyed a great full moon shining bright over the water. The staff was a-ma-zing! They welcomed us warmly and helped us with all our needs. Before arrival we even asked them for support to rent a car, and they provided precise information and help, by putting us in contact with a local rental service. They were not onliged to, yet they helped in every way they could and we really appreciated it. The transfer they sent to get us at the airport was on time and clearly visible. The room was well-cleaned every day. It was a wonderful stay, and the fact they have a pool just adds something more and makes it an oasis in area that is still developing. Thanks to Stelios for his help and to Zoi for answering all our questions by email :)

Stellios was incredibly welcoming and helpful, recommending local restaurants and activities. The nearest beach was a 20 minute walk - ask Stellios for the short cut - as was the picturesque village of Emporio. Towels were changed on a daily basis and the room had a lovely balcony. The pool was spotless with plenty of sun beds. Very handily, there is a great supermarket virtually opposite the accommodation.

You can walk to the beach but it takes 20 mins with no sidewalk. Rent a car for a couple of days at least makes life easier.

Cozy, clean, nice, great design. Cleaning spotless. Owner/manager is super - always available, always helpful. We had a wonderful time there. Platis (the Grill) is close and Platis Special Salad is recommended. Also makes a great kebab. Emporio Village is really close and the old town there is a must see. There you can eat at the Old Barbers Shop (is actually a restaurant) and you will not be disappointed. Find it with a GPS :)

It takes long time to wait for the bus. So I would recommend to take a car. It takes 22 minutes to get to the sea.

Great hotel. It got all you really need. Very helpful staff. We had a great time there. You can get a cheap coffee in the morning and a breakfast. Super Market is very close. Room service everyday.

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable, I prefer a softer mattress!

Good value room, with facilities that included a swimming pool, which we enjoyed a swim in. Stelios was a lovely host who was available for any information about the island. He arranged a pick up for us at the airport when our plane landed very late. It was a perfect location to get down to Perissas beach and relax, swim, eat etc. Not far from the charming village of Emporio (walking distance). Easy day trip on the bus to Fira and Oia. Thanks for a great time!

The only thing i would change was not to change the towels everyday, unnecessary washing, we would have been happy to use 1 set for the whole week as they dried so quickly. in uk hotels you are advised that if you want clean towels leave the used ones in bath or shower if they are hung up the staff assume you don't want them changed

The people running it were lovely kind extra helpful we really appreciated their offer to use communal facilities and leave our bags with them as we had late evening flight home

I had a lovely stay at Mantilaria! Rooms are really good, excellent bathroom. Great pool. Close to a lot of good beaches and interesting sites like Akrotiri. Away from the fuss around Fira and Oía. I absolutely recommend staying here!

Staff is always ready to help you with anything. The pool area is super chill and the beach is really close by. With our rental car we went everywhere from this place and it always felt good to go back to the quiet area from the touristic Fira and Oia. Although these places are a must visit and super pretty ofcourse!
