The sofa could ha e been more comfortable.

We liked the location and beautiful view over the bay. Apartment was very clean. The owner was available on the phone to tell us where the keys were as our flight was delayed.

Everything was perfect.

My apartment was large and spacious - well-stocked kitchen/lounge, bathroom and double bedroom with excellent amenities and facilities and in excellent condition. Very quiet during the day and night. No car noise at all. Spotlessly clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. A welcome-pack of fruit and drink was gratefully received. The apartment has two balconies with the front balcony overlooking Souda Bay and the back balcony off the bedroom looking into the hinterland with wonderful views of the mountains. The bedroom balcony had full sun all day and was protected from wind. The apartment has an excellent position on the hill overlooking Almyrida town and beach yet it is only an easy five minute walk to the glorious beach, shops and restaurants. Almyrida is a very close approximation of paradise - I have stayed in Almyrida many times - so to have the Manos Apartment as a base added so much more to the experience. The family who own and run the apartments are endlessly helpful and available for any problem that might occur. I would particularly like to thank Manos for looking after me like one of the family. I am definitely returning to wonderful Crete, Almyrida and the Manos Apartments.

Only one thing! A more comfortable settee would be better.

The host's hospitality was excellent providing a welcome pack, and allowed us to extend beyond the normal time on vacation day. The view from the large terrace is outstanding. Kitchen was full and well equipped.

Very friendly host, everything was very clean and our rooms were spacious. Very nice view from the terrace of apartment 1. Close distance to the Almyrida city beach and the restaurants. Very recommended.

This was one of our favourite stops on a tour around Crete. Perfect for couples who prefer an apartment to relax in and cook. We would have happily stayed longer there! Great views, and close to a beach with good restaurants. We had only a brief interaction with the owner, but he was friendly and seemed like he would have been willing to help had we needed anything. Free parking was a bonus!

It’s absolutely comfortable apartment with amazing sea view! A huge terrace let us spent many wonderful hours watching the sea in the shadow. The kitchen is full of things that you need. The bed is very comfortable. The apartment is very clean. And the owner is very friendly. Many thanks!

Nothing really, it would have been nice with some roof/shade on the the front outdoor seating, it got quite hot in the sun.

Nice apartment, full kitchen, really great beds and place to store your clothes. Beer and water in the fridge when we arrived, Outdoor seating both in the back and the front of the apartment. Parking just outside and the steep uphill is fine if you just give the car a bit of acceleration :-) Very friendly host there to help you. The view over the bay is fantastic and it's nice and quiet during evenings/nights. Happy to stay there again.

The host was extremely accommodating, gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and beaches, that were all excellent! The property was in a beautiful part of Crete. It has all the essentials you would need, close to restaurants, shops and a supermarket (yet still situated in an area away from the rest of the town). Our apartment also had a nice sunset view. Highly recommend!

Manos was a friendly and very hospitable host. We received a warm welcome. The apartment had everything we required and the large bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in on holiday. This apartment has amazing views over Almirida and perfect for a seaside vacation. Would well recommend this apartment Many Thanks Manos. Sonia and Keith.

I think the AC would struggle a bit in summer in this apartment.

We had the whole top story apartment and balcony. The view and sunsets were amazing from there and the free beers in the full size fridge were an unexpected bonus. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and Nikos was so friendly. It is really only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. A bit of a hill walk home but well worth it.

lovely location up a hill but the view is worth it. stayed in apartment 4 and had large terrace with loungers and table and chairs . it’s a sun trap. Son does all the communication on line very helpful , his father manages the properties x 5 . Always on hand to help , cleaning every 2 days , not intrusive always arranged a time to suit . The value for money is great , May be a bit older style but quaint clean and larger style rooms with vaulted ceilings . insect nets on windows and shutters . air con in bedroom . garden for children swings and sun beds . just overall a great price great service and very helpful when we asked for our daughter to visit last minute for 4 nights . resort is typical seaside Greek resort , lovely restaurants few choices of beaches sun beds etc. walk to Kalyves 40 mins , plaka 15 mins . Go on Kalyves boat cruise it’s a nice day out from Kalyves . taxi services very good based in almyrida . we didn’t need a car airport 45euro

The public road leading up to the property is very rough and needs attention....but that is not the fault of the property, owever, given that there are a lot of accommodation places in the same road this should be fixed.

Very homely villa-like apartment in handy location with lovely views. Parking on site was a bonus. Lovely terraces for outdoor eating. Very welcoming host.

This was a gem. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, the beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The owner was very friendly and helpful, both beforehand and during our stay there. Would love to go back and stay longer.

Nothing, it was all good.

Lovely clean comfortable apartment in a very quiet area. As I was on my own it was important to feel safe - and I did. Manos was waiting at the apartment for me when I arrived and had kindly left wine, water and fresh fruit in the fridge. The apartment was on the ground floor with a large terrace, where I spent most of my time. The view was gorgeous, and I understand it's even better from the upper floors! The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The town and beach is 5 mins walk - down a steep hill so be aware it's uphill coming back!
