I got sick last night at the hotel on 10/10 and the receptionist was extremely rude to me and my husband. The person responsible for the tours seemed lazy and not very attentive to the guests.

We really enjoyed being at Nido. We went to Corfu to celebrate my birthday and got a super up grade room, cake and prosecco! Maria, the check in receptionist, was very kind to us. The welcome drinks were the best I've had to date. The room is wonderful, spacious, very clean with a private pool and facing the sea. The breakfast food is very good, the dinner buffet is not so good. We had dinner at the ala carte restaurant on my birthday and the food and service were wonderful!

The staff were amazing! So helpful and kind. Our room was upgraded when we arrived and they gave use wonderful gifts as it was our honeymoon. The boat day trips offered through the hotel to the paxos and antipaxos was great and well worth the money. We loved our room! The views were amazing, the room was clean and well decorated. And that it was a bigger room than we had booked was so nice. My partner was very happy that it included a bathtub. And of course the hot tub on the balcony was great. The food at the hotel was great and great value for money. Again the staff were attentive, helped us with whatever we needed and were very kind! We also loved that there were two cats at the property that the resort took care of. One tip is to visit the sister hotel nearby as the shop there has pretty much anything you might need and is a lot better organised than the other shops in the area. Also in general for Corfu remember to take painkillers etc with you as there isn’t a pharmacy in waking distance but I think that was a mistake in our end as I’m sure most people know ti do this already. Thank you so much! You helped to make our honeymoon perfect!

Outside the hotel there is not a lot of nearby (walking distance) in terms of restaurants- this could be a pro or con depending on what you are looking for.

Staff were excellent and always went above and beyond. Lovely views from every part of the hotel and the beach was a stone's throw away. Buffet breakfast was extensive and great quality. Lots of extra unexpected perks and the hotel staff always made us feel very welcome and special.

The hotel layout, pool and gardens are thoughtfully planned to maximise the fabulous view and guests privacy. The room felt generous, modern and comfortable. The private plunge pool was a bonus. The a la carte restaurant, Appagio, is well worth a try as was Aquavit in the pool area. The staff were helpful and professional. I will happily book this hotel again.

Amaryllis the Manager and all her staff were super friendly and helpful. The 3 suites we had were spacious, well equipped and cleaned daily. The buffet dinner at €30 a head was tremendous value and the breakfast had absolutely everything you could want from yoghurts, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, pastries and all manner of cooked breakfasts and omelettes etc. The pool was kept spotlessly clean and the pool and bar staff were very attentive serving drinks and snacks and moving sun loungers and parasols! A gem of a hotel with great service and amenities!

The hotel cannot score a 10 in my opinion because of the location next to a pretty busy road that separates it from the beach.

Impeccable and outstanding service. In my opinion the service is at the same level as some of the best hotels in Asia which is unusual in Europe. Great buffet and a la carte food. Perfect place to relax. Seems also to attract a crowd (guests) that are quiet and polite - a big plus.

Do not offer water service at the pool. Employee was very eager to charge extra for some water, which is quite utmost a necessity during hot summer days. Although, all funds must be earned in 4/5 short summer months, hence, it is understandable.

Staff were very polite at the check-in. Breakfast staff could have been more attentive. Part of the Small Leading Hotels of the World, but improvement is needed for this title to be deserved.
