How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

great location. my advise is to travel by a as the roads in Parga are steep. the town is wonderful. the Hosts are super.

A bit harder to reach when returning from the town, but it's a similar situation with most accommodations in Parga
The accommodation is excellent, the hosts are wonderful. The apartment has all the amenities you might need. It is impeccably clean.

Nothing , everything was brilliant
Really enjoyed staying in the Maisonette. It was spacious , clean and had everything we needed. The fully sized kitchen was perfect when we wanted to cook in ,big fridge /freezer and washing machine was very useful . Despina and Thomas were fantastic , there if you needed them , but also discreet if you just wanted space. We would highly recommend Villa Ektoras and hope to be back at some point

Amazingly well equipped rooms, spotless and clean! Perfectly located and the hosts Thomas and Despina are so friendly and accommodating. We have no hesitation recommending these rooms and hope to be there once again in the near future! Thomas and Despina we thank you for all you did for us! Sometimes it is not only about the room and the location, it is for the entire package... Thomas and his family are very nice and welcoming, We had very pleasant stay at their place. we would gladly comeback and stay there place anytime.

walk from appartement to city and beach is on a large street with many cars

Nothing to mention, everything was great.
It was all perfect. The hospitality was great. Despina and Thomas were there supporting for everything. The house was very comfortable, clean and such a nice place to stay, for a family of 4(+). Kids really enjoyed the balconies. It was located in a quiet area and had a lots of services nearby. In a 5 minute drive you could reach the beautiful beaches of Parga ( Valtos, Lichnos, Kryoneri).

The a/c unit in the living room was not cooling but the host said he will replace the unit.
The place exceeded our expectations! Clean, functional, very comfortable! The hosts were lovely and had our villa ready even earlier than necessary. We were very pleased with this last minute choice and highly recommend this hidden gem!!

The family is very friendly. I arrived earlier than usual check-in time and they tried their best to make the room available for me. Great hospitality. The room was great too. I was very happy with my stay.

Thomas and his family gave us a warm welcome. The house is very nice, in a few minutes walk you can reach the centre of Parga and it is a very peaceful area. There is a nice little terrace to sit on and in general we are very happy that we chose to stay there.
