Breakfast was simple continental with a good range and staff were always helpful and accommodating. Location and outdoor seating to enjoy the weather was great.

The breakfast was not up to standard with many canned products although the region of Ahaia is famous for its dairy products,fruits and vegetables. Also dinner plates and serving etiquette need improvement. Overall food quality and dining arrangements is a weak point of an otherwise first class hotel.

Quiet and peaceful. Large, air-conditioned room with kitchen, sitting room, double bedroom and wet room. We had a super balcony with loungers and a place to have breakfast / evening drinks. Fabulous views across the Med. Lovely quiet private beach, well-maintained infinity pool and fab people behind the bar at the poolside cafe and in the restaurant and at reception. Everywhere was super-clean. Free parking. Vineyard only a few mins away by car.

The only thing that was a bit of surprise was no lunch available on site. However, because we had a villa we were happy to buy supplies from the local shops in Pyrgos and enjoy our own lunches of cold cuts, salad, beer, and wine!

What a fabulous time we had at Mare dei Suites. We unfortunately had to leave the Belvedere Hotel in Kalamata because it was such a terrible hotel with no a/c in our room. (don't ever go is our advice!). So we were looking at options to fill the remaining 5 days. We had already booked a 3 night stay in the 2 bedroom villa and we were so lucky to discover that it was available for these 5 days too. The net result is that we enjoyed an 8 night stay in this wonderful hotel - the villa is really stunning with infinity pool and just a few steps down to a super beach, complete with free green mud to use as a body scrub! We had dinner under the stars every night thanks to a wonderful room service operation and never had to leave the hotel.

Fabulous location by the sea with swimming pool and private beach. Dinner in the restaurant watching the sunset. Excellent service, rooms are comfortable and wonderful views over the ocean. A haven of beauty and tranquility.

Bathroom smelled a bit musty. Also, it seems that sea turtles are hatching on this beach. It would be lovely to see those areas protected.

WARNING DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. As soon as we checked in we made a request that that the air conditioner was not working. After 5 days we got no sleep as the air conditioner was not fixed, it was very hot. Staff did not attend to the broken air conditioner which clearly had a fault error code flashing on the unit. Breakfast was terrible, very limited of everything and some the bain maries were empty all morning. Wifi was terrible. We ordered a lunch dish which was leftovers from breakfast. Overall very disappointed. We seriously suggest finding an alternative hotel for the money they charge.

price/performance not balanced. Unfortunately the very nice view from the invinity pool to the sea became partially overgrown by reed grass. We booked a room for 3 adults but only got a very small couch approx 1.80m as third bed.

Our Junior suite was vast, however the equipment and design were completely inadequate. The worst part was the breakfast. No fresh orange juice, the bread was not good, jam and honey were industrial whereas in the area they have amazing honey and jams. The ham and cheese (only one type) were or very poor quality and the fruit was not even ripe, whereas in the region they grow fruit! We stayed in a boutique hotel in Kythnos (Cyclades) and the breakfast was amazing at a lesser price, with the same view. When you had room service or beach service they would charge 3€.

Where the hotel was located. The outside gardens were well kept. There was private parking. The private beach was amazing. Great sunsets and the feeling of being alone was sensational.

Breakfast could have been organized in a better way. The Hotel needs some refurbishment and touch ups. Hotel Restaurant has limited options and not that great taste.

The location is amazing with great views from wherever you stand. Nice pool area and great Beach in front of the Hotel with direct access from the Hotel.
