Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThey made a double bed with two single beds. It became uncomfortable. Many glasses scattered around the dorms
We loved the quality of the food served, the drinks and the activities at the hotel such as live music, dance shows

United KingdomIt’s a bit remote if you do like a wonder out or sight seeing, so you’ll need taxis or make use of the shuttle bus transfers on offer - just a couple of restaurants in walking distance. And the pool can get a bit noisy/busy, but the beach is nearby which is much more peaceful.
Good all inclusive offer throughout the day including plenty of ice creams and kids cocktails. Nice staff and rooms. Beautiful location. Access to a fantastic beach with gorgeous views and long shallow sandy beach. The rooms have been done up recently and were very nice.

CanadaAs seen above.
Food was excellent. Beach was horrible. Hotel dog looks like he’s starving. Fed him twice as I could bare to see him so weak. The owner of the dog which is the hotel manager says he does take care of this / his dog but I highly doubt it. Hotel guests were not happy to see a starving dog walk within the hotel. We would much better prefer if this dog was cared for. Shame on the owner. Check your receipts on checkout date. The receptionist mixes up the bills and you could end up paying for drinks you never had. Be vigilant.

IrelandWith the location being remote there is alot of bugs so be prepared! Bring a plug in mosquito repellent for the room!! The only other small Negative is there is no cleaning staff around the pool area, and with this being an all inclusive hotel there is a lot of empty cups ect all around the pool area and towards the afternoon it becomes very dirty. We unfortunately got one of the older rooms, was small, old fashioned and not like the pictures on booking.com
The quality of food and drinks is great, there is plenty of food to choose from and doesn’t become repetitive. Breakfast is one of the best we have had! The two restaurants ( Pizzeria and Olives) are both very good but make sure and book when you get to the hotel. The staff are all very professional, friendly and efficient. The entertainment staff are a credit to the hotel especially Ramo who made our stay very memorable. The location is remote but there is a lovely beach 2 mins walk away and a really good cocktail bar (Pyramid bar) so make sure and check both of them out.

United KingdomThe vegetarian options aren't the best but there was variety. A good note for first time travels is that it is technically in Albania and you would receive a text message saying so to avoid unwanted charges I'd take that into account. Oc the wifi at the resort is good enough.
The views/beaches are amazing, staff lovely and overall as a weekend escape was brilliant and one to remember. On a side note - the alcoholic drinks/cocktails where delightful. And almost everyone spoke good English.

United KingdomI could not work out the safe and reception had to send someone. The showers has a setting like a waterfall but the top of main was broken. These small issues were no deal breaker
The bar staff and catering team work so hard. The hotel was what I expected. The food was good and plentiful, drinks were good, it was by the beach, little shops around the corner, free parking, room was decent size, each room has its own balcony.

United KingdomWe only stayed one night - it was the finish line for our ten-day wild camping trip. Arriving in an all-inclusive setting after a night bivvying on a bare mountain in 12 hours of lashing rain, we felt like the Tom Hanks at the end of Cast Away. Having said that, if you were careful, you could choose healthy and tasty food (or not!) and the included drinks did the trick all right :-)

United KingdomThere isn't much we didn't like, perhaps the option for bottled water to be part of the all inclusive rather than only available in the small plastic cups. The general decor of the rooms could do with being updated in line with the restaurant and reception building but it's nothing drastic. The location is limiting if you like to go on walks, there is only one real route we found which is to the local beach and beyond to another beach. We were hoping for a coastal walk but there is not much around unfortunately (not the hotels fault, more something we should have checked before booking).
The staff were great. Always friendly, helpful and had a smile. From the restaurant and bar staff to the receptionists and cleaners. The food was very good for an all inclusive, there were always plenty of options and it was always fresh with dishes constantly being replaced when near empty. The pool was 'fresh' but a good escape from the midday sun.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Loved the adults relax pool. Choice and quality of food incredibly good for an all-inclusive hotel. Proximity to a beautiful beach. Views from room of sea and Albanian mountains was amazing to wake up to.

PolandFree juice and coffee are poor quality, not tasty at all, some drinks taste like water depends on a barmen or his mood no idea. Food in a restaurant not always fresh, like yesterday dish can become today soup or salad. In a restaurant Olives we spent 2 hours, I do not like to wait so long when I am with the baby, it was just too long between dishes, we were tired and exhausted, so I left with the baby without a dessert. Beautiful and tasty but long time waiting and mosquitos are eating you alive. It is better to go to the main restaurant, faster and comfortable if you have a baby.
Comfortable room and bathroom, cleaning service every day, variety of dishes, very nice maids and waitresses, close to the beach, three shops near by. Very good organization in a restaurant to manage crowds. Great place to stay with the family including small kiddo

They didn't change the towels for 7 days and doesn't the room either all they did make the bed which I I can do it my self.
The view was amazing , the relaxing pool which was away from the family one for people who want to relax , entertainment was good and food acceptable.

GermanyThere was definitely some room for improvement: - The beds were very hard and the pillows uncomfortable - There were no mosquito nets on the windows, so one had to be very careful with opening the windows in the evening as the climate is very humid with lots of mosquitos - We had booked a deluxe room supposed to be 28sqm but even counting in the bathroom and the balcony, it would be less - The towels were rather old and could be replaced
The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant, the entire garden and pool areas were also clean and tidy. The garden and the view were really beautiful. The food (buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner) had a good variety of meals, the quality of the food was mixed (some was good, other not).

United KingdomI'm pretty sure this place only exists to bring fresh blood to this part of the island for the army of mosquitos that will feed on you every evening.
Its a nice all inclusive resort if you want to bring the kids and have a relaxed time. Not much nearby so get a car if leaving the resort is more your vibe. Food isn't bad, lots to indulge in the all exclusive. Wine on tap is actually vinegar. BRING MOSQUITO REPELLANT Don't let your kids explore the monastery alone. I got concussion, and maybe a curse.
