Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandCoffee service after lunch and dinner. The neighborhood is suburban and somewhat industrial
The food was good, but after lunch and dinner I would have liked coffee, which was not available after breakfast anywhere but the pool bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was also happy that the hotel was able to offer private parking space for free (I thought that only public parking is available). The beds were comfortable and spacious.

IsraelThe pool is mot so suitable for our 5 year old kid, since he is too big for the child pool and too short for the big pool. The food was good, but no more than that

GermanyThere was no traditional Greek coffee. If you want to drink delicious and tasty coffee, you need to go to the city. We wished there was more seafood on the menu.
The hotel is located in a peaceful area. We liked the clean sandy beach on which there were enough sunbeds. There was a plenty of delicious food. Fresh cakes and desserts were served every day. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Everyone is always smiling. The reception staff speaks english and german which is very helpful.

SlovakiaThe room was missing e.g. written information about TV programs, setting and controlling the air conditioning. The beach chairs are often occupied by the towels early in the morning (sometimes all day without people), it was a problem to find a free chairs.
The rooms, hotel equipment, swimming pool, meal (catering) met my expectations - standard for such resort

United StatesAll inclusive food program with below average, and the liquor was bottom shelf. You even had to pay a premium if you wanted a corona beer
The location was excellent on a beach that you could walk both ways a great distance. And the hotel upgraded us to a very nice room overlooking the sea with a large balcony (pictured) and the overall condition of the hotel is good and the location beyond being on the sea is good as well, about a 3 mile drive from the venitian harbor. However, if you have been to an all inclusive in the Caribbean, Mexico, or etc, do not expect the all inclusive to be like that. The room prices were fairly reasonable for an all inclusive hotel, but simply stated the food was not good And we ate away from the hotel for dinner each evening because of it and the drinks were bottom shelf. Absolutely don’t choose this hotel based on the all inclusive but if you want a nice place on the beach and the prices are similar to non all inclusive it may be for you. it was hard for me to get over the all inclusive, so I rated this the lowest of the six hotels we stayed at during our 17 days in Crete

PolandThere were not enough electric sockets in our room. There was only one socket near the bed, located from one side. It was very inconvenient since one of us had to place their phone on a table located opposite to the bed in order to charge it. Air conditioning was weak. We had to set it to 16 degrees in order to get a normal temperature about 23-25 degrees. Hotel safe is paid. It's confusing that in four star hotel and with all inclusive option you need to pay extra for such a basic thing. Also, the safe itself looked old and had just a simple key lock - no code or some other more advanced protection.
We stayed at hotel for 5 days with my husband and child. Our room had enough space and had everything needed. Wifi is free for the hotel guests. There was also a balcony with a clothes dryer, which is very useful as you can hang there your swimwear. The furnishing and interior design of our room however was austere and very simple. Didn't look like a typical (as for Europe) room in a four star hotel. Although for us it didn't matter and we were pretty satisfied with our room. Overall hotel looked clean and new. Rooms were cleaned each day. The food was really good. There were two breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Each time we had a great variety of dishes to choose from. There were also three types of vine, beer and various juices. Lounge bar near the pool offering several cocktails, alcoholic and soft drinks was open all the day. Hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. They really payed attention to details. E.g., since we arrived with a small child, there were electrical socket safety covers in our room plugged into all the sockets. Location is great. Hotel has its own sand beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There were also two pools: one big for adults/bigger children and one small for toddlers.

NetherlandsThe quality of drinks (wine, cocktails) could be better. Also quite boring for couples in the evening (we were on a mini honeymoon), so every night we were doing something outside of the hotel.
The staff was very friendly, delicious food, nice beach even thought not enough sunbeds.

AustriaMost of the drinks offered used some syrup that didn't appeal to my palate, but there were some options that were ok. And there's always beer...
The food was very good. Every day every meal had something different and tasty. The personnel is very efficient. The beach is fine, and support for the beach goers was also good, like showers, changing cabins, chairs and towels. If one's going on a tour for the day, the staff offer a lunch box, and maybe even some early breakfast. Late check out is also very friendly.

Latvia-We are not satisfied with the room. -There are only two rosettes in it. 🔌 -The door cannot be opened normally - we stuck our fingers several times. -There was only a 1l bottle of water in the minibar. No extra bottle was given during the entire vacation. It was a hassle, because tap water is not safe for consumption. The only place you could get water was at meals or at the pool bar. -The children's playground is in a bad condition.
-Very good location - close to the airport and the city center and are located by the beach. 🏖️ -The staff is very friendly and responsive. 🧡 -Food and drinks are good. 🤩

United KingdomI realy can’t think of anything that could have been better.
The pool was clean and spacious and laughter encouraged. No silent lane swimming here. The rooms had everything the info said it would.no need for taking a hairdryer, take a few pegs for any hand washing & those big pegs for holding towels down.( you can but them here.)Clean and spacious. Powerful shower.over all a great room. The beach sun beds v full but space always found. The sea some years has been a bit choppy but this years holiday was super calm.so long that there’s no crowding in the clear warm sea.good for snorkelling if you go out a bit further the marine life gets better.. clean golden sand. There is a brilliant shower at the entrance to the beach so no need to go back to the poolside all salt n sandy. All in all we had a wonderful time here.evening entertainment was fun .kids early eve entertainment then on to adults evening. Daytime pool events . Perfect for families young and old .went with adult family had a great time laughter all the way ( probably had too many cocktails.try the “ strawberry coconut “ . )Plenty of food choices . We have been to many hotels on Crete. This was the overall best.
