A good hotel close to the port. We had a good room with sea view and they upgraded us to a family room which was bigger. WiFi was quite weak I'm our room. Bed comfortable. Reasonable breakfast.

Nervous man in charge of breakfasts moving too fast, pouncing on tables to clear too early, too fast. Unhelpful for holidaymakers not in a hurry who relish one of the best views in Heraklion, over the harbour, mile long pier, castle, big, docked, ferry boats and VENETIAN warehouses.

Desk staff always helpful and go the extra mile.

Nothing really, but to write something, it was a bit noisy when someone came in late at night...... As is very common in Greece, the lift was not the biggest, with luggage we chose to take the lift separately.....

Very friendly receptionist who informed us about everything we needed to know about the hotel itself, where and when breakfast was served. Fantastic view from the breakfast room on the 6th floor. We were allowed to come to breakfast 15 minutes before opening time, as we were to travel on with an early boat. The receptionist called and ordered a taxi for us and within 2 minutes it was outside.

Breakfast could be much better. No parking space. Very few cloth hangers. Not even one chair in the room. No night tables.

My room was located on the front of the building and the street noise and air planes overhead on the flight path proved to be an issue.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and provided a variety of items. I had a great view from my room.

Room was a bit small and functional - clean enough, and with a small balcony overlooking the harbour, but no character.

When I checked out, I was surprised when I was told that I just still have to pay 2€ for the minibar. I was surprised to hear that I took water from the minibar. Which I didn't do because, first, I had enough to drink and to eat at the breakfast room of the hotel that I didn't feel thirsty in the morning. Then I was outside the whole day that I didn't have the opportunity to have water in my room. And then, I always had dinner outside, which didn't leave me thirsty either. So, I had no reason to open the minibar. But I paid the 2€ because I don't want to have debts somewhere. I have to mention this because you need to check this and be careful because not all travelers are like me and there are people out there who wouldn't agree to pay something they didn't consume and they could make a scene or ruin your reputation. In my case, it was just water and I hope that it helped the person who took the bottle of water. I'm not accusing anyone, I just want to warn you that it could happen to a less friendly customer and you can have problems.

They charged for water. Really? Bathroom needed an update. Rooms had no decoration.

Seems like a silly complaint, but the soap dispenser was terrible. It was hard to access the soap to wash hands. I wish there was just a regular bar of soap. Had some trouble with the room heater but the staff helped fix it right away. Availability of hot water could be better.

The room and the breakfast were outstanding, and so were the people. It was also close to everything! We will be coming back again! I especially liked the breakfast room with the fantastic view.

The cleaning in the bathroom was ok but can be improoved.

The hotel is very well placed, in front of Venetian Port and very close to the center of town. The rooms facing the sea offer a beautiful view, they are good phonic isolated and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, you can choose between a lot of dishes. Is served at the roof floor and offers an amazing panoramic view over the port. You can park the car on the streets arround or in the parking close to the hotel (which is better) where you can have a discount based on the agreement between the parking and the hotel.

8 min walk from ferry, about 10-15 mins drive from airport. Pleasant staff. Decent breakfast.

Rather small escalator, rather "pragmatic" breakfast room and menu.

Location is very convenient both for layover between airport and ferry port as well as in walking distance to the city. Nice and helpful staff with very good recommendations.
