The location is the worst I have ever stayed in. Located in a small street. All connecting streets are full of garbage, homeless people and crumbling buildings. It’s unsafe to go at night as multiple people sell/trade and consume drugs on the street 10 meters from the hotel. The hotel is pretty old. And seem to be stuck 20 years ago. Tiny elevator. Old decor. And generally not much to expect.

The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. The bed was ok. And I guess the price was good for 2 nights.

Although the location is in the heart of Athens near the tourist attractions, but the area around hotel looks so unsafe and you feel uncomfortable during days and specially at nights.

If I had a reservation it would be it's that whilst the hotel itself is very pleasant the area around it is quite rough, particularly if you are walking back from the city centre late at night, and you should be prepared for that before your stay.

On the whole the hotel was just a cheap place to lay our heads, but the staff were friendly and attentive, housekeeping was especially efficient, and it was never a problem to get any of our issues resolved quickly.

Even though the other reviews warn you about the location, we thought it can't be that bad, especially for a european country. Oh my, were we wrong. I can honestly say I have never seen such a diverse array of junkies fighting and shouting in the middle of the street, especially at night. And there was no way to go around them, the hotel is in the middle of their.... hive. The moment you reach the boulevard, which is 50m away, all is well, though, it's just a standard minority neighborhood. Also, the bathtub/shower had barely any water pressure, washing your hair was just impossible.

The room was ok, spacious enough, clean, with a balcony available. Breakfast was pretty basic, but good for the price of the room. Although half the food was missing at times, and they were barely ever restocked. Staff is nice and helpful.

When I was going to check out I came in front of the reception and a woman called Carolina were talking on the phone and didn't even look or cared that a customer is waiting there... It was a rude behavior of her and the rest is all OK... I recommend this hotel

There was only one elevator which was small, we mainly used the stairs but we are young and fit, and it seems an old building so somewhat understandable.

Breakfast was decent, the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was quaint and well maintained. The staff were friendly overall too.

In the middle of junkie town. It's not the hotel fault, but location is very meh... However, it is walking distance from all interesting things to see in Athens.

Just the area around the hotel. There is however constant police presence.

The hotel is located near the center of the city but for a block or two from the building to the square, there is drug action and the area is not well lighted. However the hotel was quite pleasant and the staff were more than helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

LOCATION. Shady, dirty street. BREAKFAST. Everything is processed food. At least I got a real peach. The pillows were smelly, so I had to cover them with a towel. There was tooth paste mark on the faucet. Hair on the shower wall. The shower had was loose.

The receptionist was really nice.
