How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The shower curtain meant the shower bathroom became a shower room. There was only two wall lights working from switches underneath the lights. The few sockets were away from the beds.
The ability to book last minute to a hotel near the airport was a big plus. The hotel person called me on the day, and within 5 minutes of phoning her back opened the door. The hotel was clean and in a good location for the beach. It is great if you want some quiet time. I would return again for a bit of quiet time.

kind of expensive air conditioning, bad Internet connection all around the hotel, no bedside sockets, limited shower space
The pool was very spacious, beds were very comfortable, towels changed every few days, balcony space

Cockroaches. They don't live in the tidy hotel, but they appear sometimes outside and can get inside through an open door. The helpful staff made sure they didn't end up in our room.
I liked the hotel staff the most - friendly, helpful and willing to solve any problem. The planes landing at Rhodes airport are definitely audible, but they didn't bother us. The rooms are cleaned daily, the food at breakfast is fresh and tasty. Staying for more than a few days can get boring because it is always the same. Street noise is not heard in the rooms at all, the sea is nearby, just 10 minutes on foot. Pool is amazing for kids when you don't want to go to the beach. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel and it takes 25-30min to go to Rhodes centre.

Close to airport. Just used it as a place to sleep having arrived on a late flight. Breakfast at 8euros was good value.

The area is good if you rent a car it would be perfect because it is not in the center but still a good area.

Airport noise, paid AC. Read description carefully, AC is extra. Landing aircraft are fun to watch, but noise can be annoying if you want to sleep with windows open.
Staff was very helpful and considerate, remembered our request and provided the room we asked for. Good swimming pool, 24/7 reception, free parking and internet, nice kitchennette, terrace, garden. Good location, about 5 min drive from airport, good for late arrivals.

Bathroom was a bit small with toilet seat nearly touching the shower area. Shower curtains didn't stop the whole bathroom getting wet (more like a wet room tbh). Location convenient for the airport but not so much for the main sightseeing parts of the island, although Rhodes town just a 30 min 3 euro bus ride away. Swimming pool was a bit buggy, but a good size.
I found the room size was good and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful with local information and allowed me to keep my luggage there several hours after checkout.

nice and close to the airport BUT they charge you an extra fee for calling you a taxi. It costs €18.50 for a 7 minute drive there :(

Parking a nightmare as no places available as I hired rental and damaged it having to park next to hotel on back road by orders from night staff were I rubbed car against wall and food was terrible plus cockerel s growing through night

I wish that the pool was open after 18 for a night swim also. The hotel lobby also advertised a company who were supposed to get us a horseriding on the beach but when we showed up the horse riding company didnt know anything about our booking and they never got the money so i think that its bad that your hotel is advertising something that only gets customers trouble.
Breakfast was good and there was some choice. Location was excellent, stores and bus stops near.

The shower was lethal, floor tilted and slippery as hell. Also no shower at the pool area. No restaurant, quite basic servings at the pool bar.
