The property was modern and clean. I arrived at night and the entry scenery is really nice. It is 3min walk from the bus (30min bus direct from the airport). The hotel is also near the beach which I could see from my balcony. The staff was nice.

The shower corner was a bit small, you couldn't move there

The room is clean, cleaned every day, towels are changed for clean ones, close to the beach 10 minutes on foot, close to the cafe, restaurant, Lidl. Air conditioning in the room. Large balcony with table and chair

The air conditioner wasn’t working properly, also it was a bit stinky in the bathroom, but the price also wasn’t high so we weren’t expecting miracles. I think it doesn’t need a lot to take this hotel on a better level.

There were bugs all over the place we couldn’t sleep all night I stayed up until 3 in the morning The smell from the bathroom was very bad

No shampoo or conditioner, tub was awkward to stand in to shower, I must have killed about 10 flies when I walked in.

Sufficient accommodation for overnight stays. The room was clean. According to the reviews I expected worse accommodation than it actually was. The pool looked better in the photo.

Beds were very, very hard. You could also hear everything and doors continued to be slammed all night long. It definitely wasn't the good night of sleep we were hoping for.

Location is quite far away from Centre of Herakleion, which adds to expense if reliant on taxis - € 15 approx each journey. However, reasonably priced frequent bus service available, mostly Red Line No. 1. Took a while to figure out from bus stop timetable in Google Maps, but that helped manage costs of taxis. Now knowing that, would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location for good night's sleep - quiet cul de sac off lightly trafficked roads. Shops and restaurants nearby within 5 to 10 minute walking distance. Easy availability of taxis and buses to Herakleion town centre. Reasonably priced frequent bus service Red Line No. 1 stop (and some other buses) is within 5 minutes walking distance about € 2.50 per person per journey up to 11.30pm to midnight approx. every 15-20 minutes. Taxi Direct to Knossos was € 15 which was handy. Took a while to figure out bus stop timetable in Google Maps, but helped manage costs of taxis. Buses available direct to airport and ferry port also.

I arrived and there was construction going on straight away, stuff everywhere and nose and drilling. I left within half an hour and booked somewhere else.

The location, but we were aware that perhaps we should have done our research better. The hotel is in the middle of a residential area, nearest shops approx 5-10 minutes walk away, nearest restaurant 15 minute walk. The hotel restaurant was closed during our stay.

Our first room was small, no bedside table, minimal kitchen facilities which was not made clear on your website. We requested & the staff worked hard to transfer us to a better room size wise. The staff were really helpful especially the owner. We eventually cut our stay short as the hotel didn’t meet our needs.

Definitely my fault cause I didn't read the reviews. You might think "you pay less, you get less" but I wouldn't even pay 20 euros for this, and it costed me 40 !! The hotel is located in a degraded area, we could hear the neighbor beating his wife while the children were crying. Okay this has nothing to do with the hotel. The building is extremely old, with dead insect on the floor that were never cleaned. The room was dirty: long black hairs on the floor, on the bed, in the bathroom and all over the "cooking area". I guess they didn't even change the bed upon our arrival, don't try to ask for new bedsheets (as I did) because you will receive dirty ones with unknown spots on them (sauce? Blood? Who knows) Spiderwebs everywhere and I found an old pack of cigarettes inside my wardrobe. The bed was hard like stone! It was very uncomfortable sleeping there. I understand the hotel is run by a family,but they definitely should put much more effort! Hospitality is a vocation, if you don't have it you can't buy it. Avoid this place, it was the worse night I had in my life (and I've seen many low budget hostels in my life)

Mattress was very small and hard, in the morning I had the baddest backpain in my whole life. After getting up with such pain, i wanted to shower but there wasn't any shampoo and shower gel in the shower. I leaved as fast as I could. It was a harassment and a complete disaster
